This is good news, but this answer made me laugh.

You can use a Custom roster and yes, you can save it locally, making editing and generating rosters and draft classes easier than ever.

If by ever you mean just NBA 2K14 because that was the only NBA game stupid enough to make such a terrible choice, then yes, ever.

Seriously, this sounds like the mode that I've always wanted. It's like my personal wishlist made it into the game.

The only things that I would like to see, although I may have missed them because that was a lot to take in, is a) the ability to give players injuries manually (example: Paul George) and the ability to intervene in games.
Add those two things and I may not purchase another game until NBA 2K16.


I'm so pumped!

im glad to announce my pre-order of 2k15 and that i will be making a full roster and draft classes for ps4.. boomskidadle steve gave me the pot of gold

it's funny how you're so happy for this mode for next gen, but are so quick to knock us for wanting what WE want. Just an observation

It's not about that there "is" an Association mode. It's what the Association mode entails.

From my quick skim of the interview, it looks like an NBA version of MLB The Show's franchise mode.

But you can spin it all you want. I know some of you guys will only be happy with a Crew mode and that's it.

The Show does not have even 10% of the options described in the interview.

I am absolutely in heaven right now. I have been begging for YEARS for developers to just give us full control of how we want to play. And 2K has done it. You can customize almost every single aspect of your league.

Incredible work, guys. I am beyond excited to dig into it!

i dont knock crewers for wanting crew back because i dont get why it was removed and i think it should be in.

This is simply a SimHeads dream come true. My faith in 2k has been restored. They gave us settings to combat the logic and everything. With no VC involved.

I could cry right now. This is the best news I've heard from 2k in a long, long time.

The ability to set the salary cap is HUGE. In real life the cap increases every year, and by significant amounts ($5mil+ some years), so for it to stay stagnant in current iterations of MyGM/Associations SUCKED.
