Injuries 2.0 sound crazy, and all.

But Im guessing we don't have a manual injury option? I'd like to run a MyLeague along with the real NBA season with the same injuries and roster moves. That would be a could option to have.

With 80-year support, would be really cool if 2K implemented the carry-saves-over feature from one iteration to the next (just like in MLB The Show). I really hope this occurs. Would love to carry over this feature and My Career to NBA 2K16 and beyond.

Gonna add tovthe group thats requesting manual injuries. It always bothered me that everything reset when you went into association. At least now the injuries at the start of the season can be represented


Also, trading picks up to three years in advance? Hey I can actually be the Nets and trade away every other years picks. Woot.

I'll say this again because it keeps coming up... People thinking that all we did was turn a switch and bring back what was Association in the last generation are so mistaken it's not even funny. We've worked hard to add a plethora of new features which just like SimBaller said we'll be going over in future announcements, besides all the ones mentioned in the article (new injury system, per-opponent gameplan, new prospect scouting, customization sliders).

I hate using "smh", but when I see people saying "Oh so they just readded the gamemode that was removed, GOOD JOB 2K ...NOT" I shake my head.

I got a number of PMs on this overnight, so I'll clarify.

You can edit players and player ratings at ANY time during the mode (regular season/playoffs/offseason/etc.). It's wide open in this regard.

I must agree this is not the same association. The gameplan and customization sliders, puts this in a whole different type of association mode. Some will not see how deep the mode is until they play it IMO.

Ignore these bums and keep up the AWESOME work Leftos. Seriously, you guys knocked this one out of the park! I've played less and less association over the past few years, but from what I'm reading yourself and the other devs have mad a phenomenal leap from MyGM and I'm ecstatic to dive in.

Please don't let these kids deter anything you guys are doing over there. On paper, it looks like 2 steps in the right direction. Kudos!

This is all great news! I hope it runs smoothly. I know it's small as he said but I've always wanted players to wear accessories sometimes when they come back from an injury. That's a cool little feature! So many cool things about this interview I cant wait!

Ok sounds to me it has multiple ways to workaround manual injuries. You could just go in the roster and edit minutes/rotation/ratings for that player

Is it possible to edit player ages again? I used to love setting every player to a young age with their prime ratings and then doing a fantasy draft.

After just reading about the new Madden CFM details, this makes Madden look like a complete joke. Madden is off in the complete wrong direction in terms of customization. Both companies say they have been listening to the fans but it appears that 2K is the only one telling the truth here. Man if only I had a PS4....

Per-Opponent gameplanning is another feature I'm super excited about. I remember asking for this in a wishlist thread a while back. This is another feature that is gonna bring up some discussions in the Sim community. Discussing how we approach different teams and players is gonna be cool.
