Re: NBA 2K15 Spacing
I mentioned this in the Gamescom thread, but wanted to get fellow OS members thoughts.
The one improvement I would like for 2K to address this year (although there are others that could be mentioned) is..... *drum roll please*..... spacing! When I watch NBA Live in action, I always wish the spacing would be just as good in 2K. I'm wondering if the dimensions of the court versus the size of the players that 2K have is the problem. It is so tough to run an offense (or defensive set), when the players start running into each other like bumper cars to get into a set.
This is quite prevalent when the CPU is running a fastbreak and the whole team (both CPU and User) collapses to the baseline and a 'bumper car' animation kicks in and everyone starts bumping into each other to get back into the offensive set.
I actually have tried to remedy this 'spacing' issue by taking these awesome roster sets by our expert roster guys and editing their height and body type to try and mimic the player models in Live 14. It doesn't solve the issue, but it remedies it to an extent.
Any thoughts?Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Spacing
Well playing 2k15 they didn't fix the spacing.
But for those who played 2k14 did they improve it?
I'm watching Ty Lawson do his nothing against the Grizzlies and it lead me to this thread.
The spacing (well lack of it) in this game and in real life is night and day.
Still an issue that needs addressing.
A good start would be an animation for players to actively brush their way past defenders and team mates when trying to get in position.
Too many times a player runs into someone looking like he running on a treadmill.Comment
