Ended up starting the mode controlling Milwaukee, San Antonio, Atlanta, and Denver. I decided to simulate through the first season to get to the off-season, and then I'll take it slow with Simcast most likely. The season went about as you'd expect, with two exceptions.
1. Washington stunningly not only missed the playoffs, but was among the worst teams in the NBA. I have no idea how it happened, but I'm very thankful that it did, because they traded their 1st round pick to my Hawks early on in the year before they suddenly became atrocious.
2. My Bucks snuck into the playoffs with a 35-47 record. A 35-47 RECORD! Facing a 63-win Bulls team, I was able to steal Game 2 at the buzzer on a Brandon Knight mid-range jumper.
A couple other significant things that happened:
1. After the Wizards' debacle, I swept in with a trade to get Kevin Seraphin and Paul Pierce on the Spurs to help with their back-to-back title quest.
2. The T'Wolves offered my Hawks a deal in which I traded Teague, one of my other young players, and a 2nd round pick for Ricky Rubio and Corey Brewer.
3. The Nuggets were offered a trade that sent Nick Young and Carlos Boozer to Denver, and then I turned around and traded Wilson Chandler and another good role player to Chicago for Nikola Mirotic and a draft pick. Mirotic had really struggled in his first year in Chicago, while Chandler has become a starter on their team and was a big key in them getting to 63 wins.
Lastly, that Wizards pick turned out to be the 4th best chance at winning the lottery. If I'm fortunate enough to win it, there's a 7'1" C with A+ potential in this year's draft that I'm more than ready to pounce all over. There's a couple other good prospects, but this guy is hands down the best prospect, and is probably the best prospect I've ever seen in a 2K game, counting both their draft classes and the ones that are made by the guys here.NFL: Bills

Does anyone know what exactly the scout advice does when you're adjusting your teams minutes? Like when he says "Give less/more minutes to ___". Is it cause of skill, durability, morale, etc.? And how serious is it if I don't follow it?Comment

Anyone got suggestions on some of the sliders? Ive seen the injury and teade slider tests. What about things like resign aggressiveness and such

Do you mean injury effects? I had that on 45. I will test that on 0-100 while messing with the frequency.
UPDATE: I messed with injury effects as well and same results. I did 0 and 0, 0 and 100, etc. Only thing different was that with 100 injury effects and 0 injury frequency, the injuries were more longer, 2-4months etc. Still less injuries on my team and in the league though. So it seems the frequency is actually not the opposite according to my tests.

But yeah when I had both injure effects and frequecney at 100 I had 50 guys in the league not miss a game and at 0 for both only 14 witch is why I think it is backwards mabey that was just a fluck sim or something.Comment

Maybe lol cause I did about two hours of testing it. I couldn't even get close to the league average which is only 29 players who played all 82 games last year on any slider set though. I didn't want to have max injury and severity trying to achieve it.Yeah that is what I mean.
