If I can player lock Chris Paul, get beat by my man, and not have to feel helpless because Jordan will contest the shot, then it will be a miracle.

No doubt. Typically when a guy gets by you that's a wrap for that possession cause your teammates ain't doing jack to help you.

My main problem with the help defense in 2k14 is that AI would frequently come off of shooters, one pass away, to help on a drive when it isn't needed, which results in open 3 after 3. (I dunno who coded this but it is an AWFUL defensive strategy).

The bigs should be the one to step over to stop the drive then the weak side defender comes over and covers the big's man (Just like how Lebron came over and covered Birdman's man)

I just hope the AI is more aware of the situation and is smarter with their defensive rotations.

What are you talking about developer show unfinished products all the time and with the yearly cycle of sports game they have no choice, there will be tweeks up until the final minutes before mass production.

Yup! Getting an easy 3 one pass away was incredibly easy last year. There was also what I call "dump cheese" happening a lot as well. What I mean by "Dump Cheese" is when a guard is driving down the lane, the on ball defender is in great position, yet the big would come over and help anyway allowing a dump off to a score. A lot of work has been done on the defensive end both fundamentally and schematically.

Has anything been done to fix the way 6"11 players jump as compared to 7ft players? In 2k14 anyone over 7 was a terrible rebounder because of the way the jumping mechanic somehow changed because of that one extra inch

Very true, seeing guys helping, especially in situations where they didn't have to and when they should have but didn't was definitely a sore spot.

That's great news... here's hoping that this has helped the bunching up in the paint if you know what I mean.

And what about D help in p&r? or in off-screens? it has been improved as well? and the execution of the plays themselves? is the roll/screen man going for the defender instead of being static in the floor?

Were you able to fix a leggacy issue where when you beat a person off the dribble they (usually the cpu) got a speed boost to catch back up?

Has anything said about passing? My biggest complaint for 2k14 was the slow, inaccurate passes which lands on a player's head, body or leg often. Can you control when to use a bounce pass? I always turn the ball over when it decides to use bounce pass in a crowded area.

And what about psychic defense? CPU tries to steal every pass in the passing lane.
