    2k15 AI On Higher Difficulties

I'm really curious about how improvements to the AI will be handled on the higher difficulties in 2k15. Are we going to continue to see the ratings boosts, ect? Hopefully a different approach is in store...

I dont know but from the videos we've seen so far they appear to be a little more intelligent for one....

      - in the heat vs spurs vid where Shabazz Napeir faked a pass then drove, spinned to evade the defense and then took the right angle on the layup.

      - In the FIBA video the cpu was just giving it to the user ER style. What got my attention was when the cpu was open for three and this guy waited and when he seen nobody was going to contest then he shot it. They were not spamming the drive and being more patient finding the openings and actually passing the ball back out when there was no lane.

Overall in terms of AI there seems to be improvement. Hopefully they've added back the tendencies they took out and made sure they actually work.

I was thinking of making a thread about it but I think they already will lower the shot chance % if you are shot stick guy your numbers are likely to come down with ramping the difficulty up. Your timing window will be decreased and the penalty for being off goes up. If the CPU is smarter already I may not go higher than Superstar Sim

At HOF, Superstar and Allstar the CPU is given rating boosts in order to present a challenge to players

It may just be me, but I think it'd be much more logical to have the players ratings and tendencies to remain the same no matter what, and difficulty settings only changing slider presets

For example, on HOF the sliders will change to consistently have games have realistic scores and stats

At lower difficulties the game will be more arcade like with the shooting sliders set higher for example.

The "simulation" vs "default" will be done away with because they literally do nothing to change gameplay currently. If you want simulation gameplay in 2k you have to use custom settings (which still aren't allowed in MyCareer)

This would mean HOF players would be the ones that want to play true basketball rather than the ones who are tolerable enough to play through Deandre Jordan hitting post up fadeaways

I feel like the higher the difficulty the more players should play to their strengths and tendencies.

On the lower difficulties the AI should play like complete idiots and do things they normally don't do.

Feels like the exact opposite right now on 2k14... except the complete idiots thing only happens on your team.
