Good info. Looks like sadly they've decided to keep some (all?) aspects of the park and not make a real crew mode for next-gen. One can only hope you can do more in this game mode than just wait on the sidelines while others play.
Having rules and not playing to 21 seems like a far stretch.Comment

Undrafted tryout? I hope that doesn't mean we wont get drafted.Comment

I'm not bothered by the undrafted rookie aspect as long as you get the full summer league experience. Now I would still like the ability to be drafted into the nba as long as there was a draft combine involved that dictates where you go, I think they should make it where depending how well you do in the combine determines your draft position like real life and not be drafted for poor performance or you can choose to take the undrafted routeComment

I shall reserve making a judgment until official information on this mode is released. However, I would like to see MyCareer provide a simulation option. I bet it'd be a big undertaking but I'd actually like it if there were an option of turning the storyline on or off.
I much prefer the organic approach, where I created my own storyline, beginning in the draft combine and working my way up and through the likes of Summer League, Training Camp, D-League, and finally, the NBA, where my role is decided by how I play (as opposed to being destined to be an immediate superstar).Comment

I don't mind cut scenes and storylines as someone that has thoroughly played MyPlayer/Career since the beginning because simply playing games over and over again is boring as **** after a while. Only thing that I would ask is that they not be as cheesy, more choices for different paths to take so that not everyone is on the exact same story and an ability to skip for those that don't want any storylines.
Honestly, if it's feasible, bringing back the Draft Combine download would be fantastic. It was a short little mode that let us all get our 2K fix a little bit earlier than usual and it just made sense. Summer League and the D-League is a must as well. Really give us the chance to live the NBA life for better or worse.Comment

I wish they had an alternate path where you can go a more realistic route where you have to grind it out to make it. Have that if you are a rookie in the 60s and you perform poorly in training camp(training camp would be scrimmages and running sets and every time you personally botch a set you lose a point). Probably a little to extreme for most but I think it would be pretty dope, penalize players more for holding on to the ball for too long, spamming the pass button, etc.Comment
