I agree it looks the best but the fact that 7 footers are glitched when it comes to rebounds or that i Can hold the square button when shooting until it releases the shot for me and it goes in is a huge problem!

You're probably a casual, a good experience to you is having Curry going off for 50 points sinking in 15 3 pointers or LeBron dunking all game with 50 points in the paint... Thats your definition of a good game and experience, sim players are not like that...



Imo, 2k14 is the best 2k yet but it does has flaws that easily should be fixed

Glad you like it, but why did you buy it a month before release of the this year's title? From the looks 2K15 will be better than 14.

Traded in my nba2k14 for ps3. I need my basketball fix.

It's not like that at all, casual players overlook flaws of the game because of what I stated above, to them sinking in 20 3 pointers a game with Stephen Curry is a good experience to them, therefore making statements oh this game is perfect, having so much fun with it...

When in reality, theres many flaws like rebounding, passing etc... It's the sim players that improve the community morale on here and give devs what they want, opinions from a casual fan dont mean nothing since they probably dont play nor watch basketball and play 2K like its NBA Jam

You do realize this is operationsports.com right. Where the communities goal is to make 2k the best NBA SIMULATION. Its true casuals don't complain and usually don't have knowledge of the entire game. The SIMNATIOM is here!

Honestly I can play NBA 2K games all year long, I usually play it a lot during the first 5 months then occasionally take breaks to play other games and then continue with NBA 2K and so on until the next 2K games comes. NBA 2K games are not perfect but they are the best basketball simulation games out there. I usually can overlook the issues and enjoy the game all year long.

The only NBA 2K I honestly didn't like was NBA 2K4, that game was garbage. That year I bought 2 additional Basketball games, NBA Inside Drive 2003 and NBA Live 2004, and I loved those 2 games. That's why I believe competition is healthy, so I hope NBA Live improves, that way both products would be good and gamers can have choices.

But yeah I can agree with the OP, NBA 2K games in general are amazing even with their flaws.

You don't seem like 2k's target audience thus year. All the devs are stressing "simulation " if you can't tell. Fun is relative. Some have fun playing arcade style while dunking /shooting 3's all game. Here at OS fun is a game that plays realistic that DOESNT allow you to dunk and shoot 3's at a high% all game.

I think the point of the argument was that the game is not as great as the OP makes it sound. The end product vs the intended/expected product was an overall disappointment.

For example, if I set out to make you an omelet, but then put burnt scrambled eggs on your plate, you might be disappointed. But, someone who wasn't expecting the omelet may grab those scrambled eggs and think they're great. Sure, it's what they wanted, but not what I was originally trying to make, and not what you expected.

Most people were under the impression that NBA 2k14 would be a huge step up in all aspects, and it was not. For someone who wants to play realistically, which is where 2k has hung their hat for years, the game was a disappointment. Just because you have fun with the game doesn't mean it's as good as it could/should have been.

I haven't played the next gen game and I'm sure it has glaring issues, but I was more criticizing how some "sim" players feel the need to pretty much look down on casual gamers and tell the OP to not have fun with the game because it has its drawbacks.

I normally only play sports game in their respective season, however I was playing NBA 2K14 in August this year. It definitely lacked modes and options, but with the right sliders I had some great games.

I can't wait to see what the team has in store for us for 2k15. You best believe that I'm going to be looking in every crack and crevice that I know of to find 2k15 a few days early. Officially, we're 35 days away from release, but hopefully I'm only 31-32 days away.

"Arcade gamers" are as important as "sim players" as long as they are paying for the game.
If the game were only made for sim players, they would spend a bunch of money (even with a lower budget) trying to improve and create a whole new game every year, since everyone ends up being disappointed with some feature or lack of some feature, and they would sell like, half of all copies? three quarters, maybe?

if fun is relative, why would you care about someone's else fun?
as long they dont mess with you, let them be happy, lol.
