No information so far most likely means they have retained the services of Kellogg.

I'm obviously kiddingI can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: *New Broadcast team? (2K15)
To be quite frank, I don't like Clark Kelloggs commentating at all.
He suffers from hyponasal speech (nasal voice) and tends to disagree with his colleagues a lot, on air.. Which in turn spark awkward reactions from a person playing or watching. Now, I'm not picking on him for his voice, but there's a reason he's not an analyst for any major broadcasts.. He knows his stuff but when he speaks, it isn't music to the ears.. at least not good music.
If he's back, whatever.. Give us an option to mute him individually (mlb the show gives us this option)
Whatever you do, 2K, please do not ever hire Walt Frazier. It's bad enough having to mute Knick games when on MSG (unless Mike Breen, the best, is there) lol
I really like Jim Barnett's style of commentating. He really goes in depth when it comes to analyzing a play or player. Even though he loves Steph Curry, he was never biased while working for Golden State. I would like to see him added to the 2k roster as their new analyst.
The above comments are just my opinion. Don't take them too seriousComment

Walt is awesome! How dare you?
I agree on Jim Barnett, though. Jim is amazing at his job and I would certainly love for him to be part of 2K. I don't know if he would, though, as next year is probably his last year of commentating.Comment

Re: *New Broadcast team? (2K15)
It would be "brain neutral to reenlist the services of Kellogg…LOL
Just kidding. I don't necessarily think he's a bad commentator. Mike Breen, on the other hand, would probably provide some useful commentary to the series. probably even more so than Kellogg.
Imagine hitting a three and then Mike would go BANG!!!What we know so far about NBA 2K14 - FAQ/QA:

I love listening to JB for GS. He does such an amazing job explaining the fundamental of Basketball, but i think people who play 2k would like someone who jokes a lot and not be lecture about the history of the NBASan Francisco Giants

Re: *New Broadcast team? (2K15)
Whatever. They release a solid game year in and year out, until that changes they can do whatever they want. 90% of marketing for Any product in existence
These days has a twitter/social media connection to it. For people to "like" or retweet something isn't a micro transaction. It builds interest and hype and that's the name of the game.
However, it BECOMES a micro transaction when a company LITERALLY says to their customers....
Give us a certain number (like 5,000 or more) of 'retweets' and 'likes'... AND IN RETURN... we will give you some (important information about the game).
If you watched a few recent 2K webcasts over the last month, or so... that is exactly what they have been doing.
'Likes' & 'retweets' are considered a form of 'social currency' of e-commerce.
They exchange our 'social currency' for their 'services' (of providing the MOST BASIC details of their upcoming product)
Just because you may not agree with the 'definitions' of the terms.... does not mean that is it not happening.
If this is the business model they want to pursue... you have to ask yourself... if 2K never gets a single 'like' or 'retweet' between now and release day.... how much basic info will they put out about 2k15? Just curious.
While you think about that...
The next time you get on a plane to fly somewhere.... if the stewardess told everyone she needs 50 'retweets' from all the passengers onboard BEFORE she recites her 'pre-flight safety speech' about using the seat belts & oxygen masks properly...
... is that some type of micro transaction?
... or just airline marketing 'hype' used to build interest & sell more plane tickets?Last edited by RogerBlack; 09-09-2014, 07:58 PM.Comment

JB's rants about the rubber on shoes whenever anyone falls down in a 2K game would be fantastic.Comment

Re: *New Broadcast team? (2K15)
Not sure the casual crowd would dig JB, but he's definitely one of the best around the league. Would be awesome if they had Fitz and JB for certain games with a "local" flavor.
