It looks like the love affair with 2k and Kellogg continues this year if that French website is correct.

He does a very good job it's just that he sounds out of place next to Kerr and Harlan because he's not an actual nba commentator.

Yeah he is, he's been on fox sports for years, doing mostly pacers games, he left last season but he has a lot of nba commentary time

With Kerr now coaching, I would get rid of Clark Kellogg and bring in Reggie Miller and Mike Fratello to replace Kerr and Kellogg.

Has anyone heard who's behind the mic this year yet?

            I'm still curious...did 2K just cut-out Kerr (since he's coaching) and go w/ a 2-man booth of Harlan & Kellogg?

Need info!!!!! It's small but pertinent

I'm okay with Kellogg, at this point his chemistry with Harlan is very good. I wouldn't want them to break that with someone not used to being in the virtual both commentating just my take. I will say this though 2k is good at creating commentary so I don't think if they were to change personnel it couldn't work out for the best. I use to dislike Kellogg but after so many years of his commentary, he has grew on me so I don't mind him at all

Why not Mark Jackson or Jeff Van Gundy? Idk, it's the only names I haven't see on here yet and they are the commentary for ESPN NBA games.

Probably not as easy as just bringing those people in.
I would love to get Mike Fratello in there. The combination Marv Albert and Mike Fratello is still my favorite commentator team.

Not only Mike Fratello and Marv Albert, but also Hubie Brown is someone I would consider because of his analyst and he would be an awesome addition to their commentary team. I can listen to him analyze the game all day. Sadly Hubie is on ESPN team though.

I prefer commentators that enhance the gaming experience. Make it exciting than the action on the court. For example, in soccer...the Spanish commentator with the "goa goal goal goalllll goalllllllllllll........" just add so much to the satisfaction of scoring a goal. In the NBA, you don't want two commentators that are just analysts...basically they're just analyzing and talk about the game instead of saying thing exciting during a dunk or 3pts shot or something. And they did have that in NBA2k previous iterations. So with that said, i think Harlen is perfect for colorful commentator.

Some of the peeps that are NOT colorful commentators (but NBA analysts) are:
                          Jeff Van Gundy
                          Reggie Miller
                          Hubie Brown
Mark Jackson (all he got is "Oh MAMA" lol)
                          Chris Webber
                          Fratelo
                          Kerr

                          EXCITING COMMENTATORS:
                          Mike Breen
                          Dick Vitale
                          Harlan

Do the commentators make up their lines lines themselves ?
I always thought that Kellogg was just the victim of poor lines given to him. So changing him doesn't really improve on this.

It would be so cool to have two different broadcasters like in FIFA Games where you can select which one you would like to hear when you are about to play a game.

Broadcast 1: Kevin Harlem and Kellogg

Broadcast 2: Marv Albert and his broadcasting team
