No, I do that too. I will take 6 or 7 FU shots with Kobe a game, because I know it's the right(wrong) thing to do, it's in his DNA. I would imagine that a lot of us play that way, it adds such an interesting psychological and emotional component to the game. You're Role-Playing in a sports game.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever. -

Re: New NBA 2K15 Podcast Features Leftos, Over Two Hours of New MyGM and MyLEAGUE Inf
by the way, here was what was in the podcast:
Spoilertried not to include stuff that were in previous articles and interviews. still might have missed something though.
New Stuff:
Free Agency
-no position stacking
-CPU takes into account the coach's style of play and 'personality' (as well as team needs) when signing or drafting guys
Development
-3 categories of attributes: Fundamental, Tactical (IQ), Conditioning
so basically, top notch shooters (like Allen for example) remain good when old, are wiser with experience, and don't speed down the court.
-Tactical attributes develop later on (if not high already)
-Conditioning peaks early and dwindles later
-Fundamental has a basic development curve with little drop off
-all 3 categories of attributes can be developed further on days with no games. or it can be a rest day, you choose. player personalities are affected by your decisions though. guys with no work ethic badge may not want to be in the gym all the time and respond negatively.
-you can develop players to whatever playstyle you want. if you think a guy you just drafted would be better suited to fill a specific playstyle, you can choose that option and the game will put him in training camps that mold his attributes towards it. again player personalities take affect and the players will come to you and tell you if you're not training them towards a style that they even like.
-some player personality badges: work ethic, expressive, egotism, motivated, reserved
General
-per 36 stats are IN (no more having to use my phone calculator!! lol)
-coaches have a Bench Depth (5-13 instead of 0-100) and Bench Utilization (determines minutes of bench players)
-SimCast (allows you to jump into games or continue on in simulation)
-huge variation of team win totals and player talent
-assistant GMs can do some conversations for you but this can piss players off
-age, measurements, ratings and contracts can all be edited
**besides the conversation system & 30 team control, all of the new features and improvements are shared between MyGM and MyLEAGUE**Comment

Re: New NBA 2K15 Podcast Features Leftos, Over Two Hours of New MyGM and MyLEAGUE Inf
Leftos, i have a question about the gameplan.
We can set up a different gameplan for each opponent once the season starts. This includes starting lineups and rotations, correct?
What happens when one of my players gets injured? Do i have to change all gameplans? Will the game automatically substitute this player and put him back on the gameplan when he is healthy again?
How does it work?Comment

For example if the User eliminates all the 3 pointers from Josh Smith's game, he would obviously be an exponentially more efficient player, and his team would benefit from this change too, of course. So he's "doing what the coach wants", but he should be unhappy, and other parts of his game could/should suffer, and he might want to be traded as well.
Just something to think about.
Now you combine that with the Mentor rating for coaches. Pop and the Spurs can shape Kawhi into a star from a player without a jumpshot. While a Kevin Mchale has to pretty much let a Harden do whatever he wants.
Speaking of which, coaches should maybe get Emotion Badges too.
Phil Jackson -- "Zen Master": Can get multiple stars to buy in and reduces clashes between players with "Ego" and "Alpha" badges.
Popavich -- "Disciplinarian": Boost to players' offensive awareness when executing plays.
Mark Jackson -- "Motivator": Boost to players' rhythm after timeouts when NOT executing plays.Last edited by Sundown; 09-19-2014, 08:14 AM.Comment

Ooo. What if there's a Coachability rating? The rating would influence how happy or unhappy the player gets from diverting fom his preferred role and tendencies. So a Josh Smith wouldn't be happy unless he was launching a few threes. A coachable player (especially a youngster) may be happy with their game being reshaped.

Well he did run the pick and roll to death and the curl play. Then it was pretty much Curry do Curry and Bench Mob most other times.Comment

I'd like to listen to the pod but won't have a chance until tonight after work. That's awesome 30 team control is back, can you edit all aspects of the players in MyCareer if doing 30 team? Most importantly can you edit contracts and player ratings? That was a big way for me to keep the league flowing well for multi years in last gen installments.

Will fatigue play a role in injuries. For example, out the box Derrick Rose is susceptible to having knee injuries. So if I overworked him(big minutes in gam and training outside of games), will that increase his likelihood of getting injured?"Dunks are tough, but when a 35 footer come rainin out the sky...it'll wire you up"Comment
