Here is what I feel like... NBA 2K15 will be the greatest sports video game ever conceived. On paper it already is, just need to see how it turns out, but Im very confident it will live up to the claims.

And yes, we have some more information that will roll out over the next few weeks that will have fans VERY excited.

A little bit of everything for everyone. And gameplay is on point. We're more giffy for 10/7 than you guys are.

All these features theyre rolling out are just gonna be more gimmicks that we get tired of or are kinda half assed? Like I know the Inside the NBA show will be tiring after 2 games, and the Scan a Face thing has been done 10 years ago with Tony Hawks Underground, like that **** is not new.

Just feel like association and gameplay in general will be ignored once again just to please the casual fans who play on rookie and hold turbo all of their 5 minute Cavalier/Thunder quarters

You have MyLeague, which is Association plus. You have improved gameplay aspects both by the AI and the user.

Have you even read 2K's news or the threads that have been posted about them?

I'm pretty much the opposite, I went from 2K15 being totally off my radar to looking forward to this as much as FIFA 15 (which is saying something!). The next month or so is going to be awesome!

nah i havent been here on a while probably should have checked. All I see them promoting on twitter is the Yakkem BS, random Beyonce **** and now this Face thing. Havent heard anything about these updates to association until now. But again like I said, we get these types of promises every year.

It does look like they actually put some time into it after reading these threads though so thats a plus

What does this have to do with the past? I am really not getting your point. My point I thought was clear. They have put a huge emphasis on franchise mode. And that can be found within seconds on this forum, even before the blog I mentioned.
You have since changed your original post from: they have ignored association, and added gimmicks like facial scans to: they are giving us association promises that won't be fulfilled. Make up your mind. Or just continue to adapt your post to make it seem like you are not trolling or actually have a constructive thought.

How can you really feel this way? My goodness. MyLeague to me sounds like the best Association Mode of all time. With the added gameplay improvements, CAP draft classes, injury system etc. Association should be the last thing you should worry about this year. I'm in love with this game so much right now and I haven't even played it. And no VC

I don't think gameplay was ignored. However, I'm pretty sure that a basketball game with just great gameplay and old school modes only (Season, Franchise, Play now) won't sell well. I personally don't care about any other modes (Actually, Season/Play Now modes is enough for me), but gameplay, as good as it is, can't sell games anymore. I personally don't like this, but that's the way it is. Unless your game has zillions of modes and non-gamplay features, it'll be hard for you to market it these days. On the other hand, 2K themselves pushed this attitude, and now it's impossible to get away from that.

I miss the old days, when a few extra modes were just...extra stuff, but the game was about gameplay, graphics and Season/Franchise modes.
