I'am sure theses guys who have played the game have given them feedback but they played the game. You're not gonna give that great of feedback just by looking at gameplay videos.

If they really wanted early feedback they would release a demo for everyone to try and comment.

Vni, think about it like this, how much do we catch from 3 minutes of gameplay even with the most inexperienced users? A lot. By the time OS is done picking apart the video(s), a dev usually has to chime in and inform us the build is old lol.

Sure, the best feedback is when you actually play the game but I'd like to think most of us have a keen eye when it comes to gameplay.

What we will see gameplay wise from theses gameplay videos (wich they will eventually release) is things they are 100% already aware of. You don't think Mike Wang knows exactly what's wrong with Nba 2K gameplay wise ?

They will show gameplay at some point though.

But if they where looking for feedback they'd give us all the info and a demo for us to try. Obviously that's not what they're looking for right now.

We're in the "Everything is fixed" time of the year.

I'am sure that if Nba 2K was released every 3 or 4 years we'd get early alpha and beta access because that's the way to go in gaming. But with a yearly cycle you can't do that unfortunately.

Everything they've "announced" sounds good, sounds...not looks, because they haven't really shown anything except the face scans.

My League sounds very promising, but no videos.

My Team sounds like (with all the gameplay changes) might not be a cheese fest anymore online.

My Career, well, all we know is you can put your face in and there's some more badges...literally that's it.
I try to play sim in career mode but we all know casuals love this mode so I see this being the money maker; not having actual info on this up until face scanning makes me think it would hurt them waiting so long, not help.

And this online Park/Crew hybrid they been talking about, but not actually talking about...I'd like to know what it is.

September's quickly coming to an end, yet Forza Horizon 2 has tons more info and a demo even. And that comes out a week before 2K does.

how desperate are you uh? that's marketing for you, they already got you and you don't even have a clue lol, enjoy the game on the 7 or whenever you decide to buy it, because you will, 95 % of the people who have played the game early are saying that the game is great (coming from an early build), ldk already stated that him and ronnie2k are doing the annual battle between one another before release, so why do you keep asking from gameplay if you know that is going to come anyways? that does not make any sense at all, and at the end of the day dude is a game that we are talking about right here, your life does not depend on it lol, be patient.

So, are things different this year or am I losing it? I'm very optimistic that 2K15 plays well but I'm befuddled at this point why gameplay is basically hidden or negated due to the build model.

Feel free to Chime in with your memory of previous years. Devs, can we get an ETA for some real gameplay?!

I'd love to see some full screen/HD video that isn't from a cell phone, but do you want to know what will happen when they release "official" gameplay videos?

1/3 of the community will say: Looks EXACTLY like 2k14

1/3 of the community will say: Looks great but I expected more (without elaborating on what more they want)

1/3 of the community will say: Looks better/smoother/nice animations/can't wait to play/etc

Honestly, if you want gameplay video just go watch the "leaked" stuff on youtube. I highly, highly doubt the retail version is going to look or play much differently than those, even if they are an "earlier build". Sure it doesn't look as nice, but it's better than nothing. Plus I'd bet that nothing they show us is going to blow anyone away. We know what 2k basketball plays like at this point.

Just my two cents.

It's shocking to me that GAMEPLAY isn't front and center already..I guess that's not what sells to casuals...It's all about the wristbands/rubberbands, headbands and alternate jerseys, VC, halftime presentations and face scans...Lol.

Oh, and let's not forget the once in a lifetime awful servers...Haven't heard a peep about them...Even on OS, this topic isn't anywhere on the front page. Priorities are all out of order, IMO.
