Well his regular season was pretty unforgettable too. I understand rim protectors have different ratings in this game, but that's all that Hibbert is. He can't score, he can't rebound, and he can't pass. He can protect the rim, that's it. The Hawks proved that wasn't such a big deal when Pero Antic had a field day with Hibbert in the playoffs. It's crazy to me that a one dimensional player can get an 80 rating but I'll reserve any further judgement until I play the game.

Bonner has a rating of 72. I think 80 is about right for Hibbert.

2k must have missed Hibbert's performance in the playoffs

Hibbert was terrible all year last year but it was do to confidence not skills. 80 seems about right because if he plays like he did in his contract year he would be better than an 80

Just like everybody else forgets the majority of the season

To keep/improve his rating he will have to perform much better than he did in the playoffs. Player's like Hibbert and Bogut impact the game in so many ways that basic statistics can't always show. Having an elite rim protector is a valuable asset to a team. There is a reason teams spend so much money to keep these types around

Hibbert was TERRIBLE. While that was and exception an important marker on his career, it also wasn't the norm. Wild fluctuations or not, he's been an important big man. I have no real problem with him at 80. I think Bogut is a little underrated but if you're talking about big men who are often exceptional and sometimes absent for different reasons, they're not that far apart I suppose.
