It's very possible actually. If they have a thing where you interact with your coach in my career, with cut scenes and stuff they aren't gonna create the scenes with all the coaches in the league...Comment

Re: Game Informer: 44 Things We Know about NBA 2K15
I think you guys are forgetting you're going to be a FA after your first year in the league. Perhaps you only get offers from bad teams and thats why Rivers takes over? Maybe only teams with lame duck coaches want you?
Even if thats the case I still don't like it on paper. Doc isn't leaving the Clippers any time soon. However, maybe they have some sweet storyline that goes with it. Like your team offers the Clippers a first round pick and cash for Doc.

I believe Doc is the only coach who did a voice session so thats why.
People need to start thinking of this more as a story mode and not a career simulator. In a story mode, you have to interact with the players and have to be involved in the events the mode has. You have limited control over what happens in the mode other than the games you play and choices the mode allows you to make.Comment

Re: Game Informer: 44 Things We Know about NBA 2K15
Maybe they actually got Doc to do some lines where he interacts with your player and mentors him in his second year. Obviously, they couldn't do this with every coach in the league, so Doc comes in for whatever team you're on.
I can appreciate people who want as much realism in the mode as possible, but at the end of the day, it's a fantasy mode. There are realistic aspects of the mode, and there are some storyline/fantasy aspects to the mode. Just go with the flow and enjoy the ride.
"Why would Doc leave the Clippers to go to a bad team?" Because of stuff, that's why. It's not really that important in the end.Comment

That report is incorrect as far as every team having their own base set. Not sure how they got that but that is NOT correct. No way that could be done in the time we had.Catch me on that #SimNation #SimHangOut Friday's @ 10:00 pm est https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...N7yxMiElOpMl_BComment

I got hooked on my career precisely because it was a career simulator, not because I wanted to play a basketball-themed RPG. Is this really what the masses who play MyCareer every year actually want??Comment
