I was just hoping he would post some screens or a video or talk about anything meaningful on the podcast.

Screenshots or a video could violate embargo. LD2K dropped by in his other thread and warned him about embargo so as far as we know, he could be under some guidelines of what he can and can't show us. That's unlikely, but it's possible. That podcast was crap quite frankly. Terrible quality and it was really unprofessional, they also failed to ask any good questions in the time I listened. Just watch the stream tonight and wait a week to get the game. That's really not that long of a time, you'll survive.

No, he could have streamed or recorded menu navigation and gameplay, or posted some screen shots. The PS4 has ustream could have easily streamed their.

Man, the entitlement is strong with this one. He doesn't owe anyone videos or pictures, especially when he was explicitly told there was an embargo on videos. I know I wouldn't want to take the risk of someone being able to screw up my account. The game is a week away, and we're getting more info by the day. People should cool it with him.

Embargoes don't really apply to us regular folks. It's more for review sites and such. 2K can ask websites to take vids and pics down but they don't have to.

The embargo was for youtube and obviously twitch. He would have been ok on ustream or some other streaming service. Also usually you can stream for a few hours before they even catch you. The internet is about being FIRST, the one who is first is the man! But maybe he does not care about that, though he chose to announce it on OS.

Rook, you do realize that not everyone prescribes to your own definitions of "meaningful"... There are sim-heads and rating buffs and online-freaks and also sneaker-heads or headband fanatics.
Everyone has their own priorities. Of course I am also disappointed that no screens have come up, or that none of my questions have been answered, but the man doesn't owe us anything, the only thing he may be guilty of is creating excessive expectations.

All this entitlement and passive aggressive resentment is childish and frankly not befitting of this forum. a real shame...

I think it's funny that people are saying that he missed out on a huge opportunity.. No he didn't.. Nobody is cutting him a check for this. It would've been nice if he answered the dozens, if not hundreds, of questions in here, but the guy doesn't owe us anything. He seems like a busy guy and he's probably playing the game. You honestly can't be upset with him.

He doesn't owe me, or anyone else a thing... And he's under no obligation to provide a thing...


When I said "missed opportunity" I'm saying that he could have beat 2K to the punch on a few things, which would have made this thread a lot more interesting. Instead we're talking about tattoos, shoes, haircuts, and foot-planting.


I'm not mad at the OP. He just might have intended not to break anything exclusive, and that's fine.
