Re: I'm answering questions on 2k15
I would love for everyone that says that to actually talk to bedwardsroy (OS member and roster creator for the team). With the new ratings system Kobe at an 89 is just fine and pretty generous honestly. Kobe is 36 years old and coming off back-to-back injuries.. You're lucky he's not like an 82. Kobe might not come back firing on all cylinders so an 89 for the base roster is completely justifiable.Chicago Bulls | Chicago Bears | Chicago White Sox | Chicago BlackhawksComment

Re: I'm answering questions on 2k15
I love "making" rosters and editing everything to reflect real life. I'm not even real big on shoes, but when I'm playing with my team, everyone has to have their exact shoe in exact colors or I can't play.
I know that's crazy but I'm just very OCD when it comes to that I guess. That aggravates and I'm not even a big shoe fanatic! But jumpshots? I'm a fan of the GAME first and foremost and to see this be continually overlooked (like mentioned in above post) is so frustrating. I can edit my rosters all I want but I'd rather not have to. There's nothing in the game that I can find that can match AD's jumpshot for editors.
And what really makes me even more mad is the fact that guys like Curry and Durant get new jumpers almost every year. I can understand if bench players jumpers get ignored but Anthony Davis just blatantly being ignored? An all-star, the leader of the youth movement in the NBA is getting disrespected.
The unpopular teams always seem to get ignored when it comes to certain things. 2k has the Pelicans primary shoe colors as blue and gold when it should be blue and red. Turning on a real life game tells you that, which is what makes it so frustrating. I imagine it's this way for many other unpopular teams, too.
There's so much more I can rant about but I'll stop here as I don't want to derail the thread.Comment

Re: I'm answering questions on 2k15
Every year, like clockwork, I'm shocked by the same 2 things....
1) the lack of attention signature shots get from the 2K team. I mean, they obsess (rightfully so) about getting every intricate detail of the player's likeliness and physical features but seemingly spend very little time making them PLAY like real life. Now, do I expect them to motion capture every player in the league? No, that would be an unrealistic expectation. But at least tinker with their shooting in the game and try to get their shot somewhat close. A player's shot is arguably his most recognizable trait yet it's treated like some second-rate aspect in this game.
2) that I seem to be constantly in the minority in terms of the demand for updated and authentic signature shots/moves. Each year, it ranks near the top of my wish list and few else's.Comment

With that said it would be nice for the shots to be more accurate out of the box instead of having to go through a spreadsheet (not downplaying how helpful they are, shoutout to the guys that put them together) and change them all every time there's a roster update.Comment

Agree with the guys on the last page not satisfied with sig shots. Some of these guys have had the same shot for multiple years! You have to update those animations at some point because currently shooting forms are not on the same level as other animations.
Yes, they can be edited and made to look pretty good. But it would be better if the game released with more accurate forms..PSN: rose2kobe24Comment

This is only their second game on next gen, am pretty confident by 2k17 , we will be playing the closest thing to real life at that point.

Re: I'm answering questions on 2k15
What does this have to do with my post? We still have jump shot animations from 2k10. And if you wanna go deeper than that, Jason Richardson's jump shot in 2K14 was the default jumper for players in NBA 2k6.. on ps2.PSN: rose2kobe24Comment
