Im tired of people crying about the old Crew, if you want to play that just play online, you have real teams and their real venues. The only difference is that you get to play with your created player. I'm sure 2K thought crew was too similar to regular games and this is why they chose to change it up a bit.

I'm wondering what's going on with the squad spots and the single spots... would a squad containing 3 guys get a random 2 guys from the single spots? and then who gets first dibs squads or the single spots. or is it simply when you ready up on squad your entire squad appears on the circles and then grays out the single circles?

Can someone address this question?

if you come in the Rec with 5 and ready up, the 3 un-squad players readied up, waiting, will get overlooked in regards to your full 5. I'm guessing no matter how long they've been waiting. with that I assume that if you only have 3 in your squad, you'll have to wait until you get a full 5.

I play big man myself i hope the rebounding is fixed, i think im going to mess around with hibbert, Marc Gasol, Tyson Chandler etc in a few regular quick match games before i make my player for the squad/park mode just to see if im comfortable with the rebounding this year. I remember in 2k14 it felt like my center had a bowling ball in his shoes he barely jumped for the rebound and would even miss the ball when he clearly was in position to grab it lol

Really gives me vibes of some concepts I written up a long time ago.

What Crew could have to be the (one of the) Biggest and Best Multiplayer Mode in Sports Games:

-Improving Create a taking elements from Gameface, TeamBuilder, and Yuke's WWE CAS Builder (custom logos, painttools, etc.)

-Represent your crew in everyway, 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, 5v5 and help out get word out of your Crew (1v1/2v2, games to 21, 3v3, NBA rules, four quarters, and 5 minute quarters, 4v4/5v5, NBA rules. four quarters, and 7 minute quarters)

-A "Crew to Greatness"-mode, start at your Homecourt, then your game online, win games, and see your Crew become bigger within the 2K community/virtual fans from myCareer, being more famous and then gaining popularity to get to bigger venues, VC, and maybe sponsors from Nike, Jordan Brand, NBA teams, etc.

-During NBA Playoffs, the best Crews compete in a 16-Crew tournament (NBA Style) and winning team gets $20K to each member (total: $1M, like MLB 2K's Perfect Game Challenge) 2nd place: $10K each member, 3rd place: $5K, 4th: $2.5K everyone, future 2Ks delivered to all participants by Day 1. (early copy possibility)

-Slam Dunk Contest/3 Point Challenges between 2 Crews with all 5 members all trying to combine points in 3 rounds to gain VC

-Pick Up Games (Blacktop) vs CPU/Humans to gain some VC

-Twitch/Streaming Service Streaming Competitions Setup by 2K once or twice a month (give exposure to the game and introduce the game to new fans, ex. Most Wins vs Most Fans, "themes" to each month, YouTube Crews vs Random)

-NBA Players from CPU to fill your team out while members are out, the more popular you are in (Fans from 2K community and/or myCareer fans,) the more better the players would be, 1K fans: players that are bench warmers (ex. Brian Scalabrine) 5M to 15M: NBA Superstars (ex. LeBron James) 25M+ Fans - Legends/2K employees (Mike Wang, Michael Jordan, Leftos, LD2K, Ronnie2K)

-LOBBIES! Less difficult - less fans/slower development in evolving your team to popularity, More difficult - Opposite, More Fans/Faster development, but you're gonna earn you wins vs chucking 3s and throwing alley oops. (ex. Rookie/Causal being arcadey, HOF/Sim, you have to THINK like NBA Players)

-Optional: myTeam and Crew somehow interact in some form (I don't know)

-The 2K "Prestige" (Prospect, Rookie, Pro, All-Star, Superstar, HOF, etc.) actually shows skill level vs DNF percentage. Beating a highly skilled opponent when your lowered ranked, that helps development of your team

-VC is there and will help developing your myCareer will help to improve your Crew

-You can't BUY your way out of this one boys, no shortcuts, if you're good, EVERYONE will know your good, if you're bad, EVERYONE will know your bad

-Leaderboards becomes Crew Feed. Alerts on Current Crew games scores, Crew Stat Leaders, Crew winning streaks, and whos leading in Wins.

-Optional: Review System, how it works, unknown, the reason why its Optional is it could be abused in SOME way, idea is, report cheesing on a winning team, they get deducted X-amount of fans and slows down development of getting famous

-The GOAL is to be the BEST CREW for the YEAR, and to get know by EVERYONE in the basketball video game community, Be 2K Crew Season Champion.

Not completely like it, but the core is there.

Just checked it out. Am I missing something or did he say that there's only going to be 4 rec center courts and you can't get on unless you have a full 5 not to mention that you have to wait until the full game is over before you get on...WHAT?!??!!

I think yeah, 4 5v5 courts on that park server. 80 people per "park", 40 playing, 20 possibly readied up and that'll leave 20 to do whatever.

Think about how many complaints they got on wait times for The Park in 2K14, now in the only Sim mode for MyCareer to play online you have to wait 25-40 minutes and have a full 5 squad to even get on. And if you lose do it all over again...I'm sorry someone correct me if I am looking at this wrong, a FULL wait time for a Sim game to even play a mode is absolutely as backwards.

Well i doubt the rec center will be as crowded as the park was.I have have to wait a little longer to get a good game i dont mind. And you only have to wait on next if you LOSE. Just hope theres a few mins of ready up time to give the winning team time to reset/take care of shiz on those long win streaks.

There could be different lobbies for each Park/Rec Center. I remember back in the day for Madden there were East, West, and different level of competitiveness lobbies. Maybe they could do something of that nature.
