I am beginning to despise this mode.....HONESTLY.

I made 2 myCareer, Center and SG/SF. Im playing 12 mins, SS, SIM.

1. STUPID AI teammates.
- Coach asked me to PnR and give to assist to my teammates - most of the time my teammates will not use the PnR i set up IN SPITE OF RIGHT Position.
- EVEN IM HOT IN THE 4th QTR, my teammates are not passing the ball even I have a mismatch due to the PnR play and they continue to shoot even players on their face.

2. Your TEAM IS DOOMED TO BE LAST
- because your teammates are stupid.

3. YOU MUST SCORE FOR YOUR TEAM TO WIN - almost all the time, this is because of #1 reason.
- why cant be my C and SG/SF be role players and support to the top 2 or 3 players in my team

4. I AM ALWAYS PLAYING 40+ minutes per game even if my assigned minutes is only 35.
- sometimes I am not being subbed at all
- I need to be in foul trouble in early qtrs to get a decent rest on the bench
- still playing even if theres a blowout

I am glad that the story line is different etc, but these 4 issues and more are really annoying me to the point I dont want to play myC.

I understand you are frustrated - but what you are seeing is not always the case. I play as a PF - here is my perspective on your points:

I play on All Star [using Charlotte Hornets] - Teammates use my picks often although sometimes they don't even when they should. It does get frustrating sometimes when they don't pass me the ball - but I can easily get up at least 15 "good" shots per games. I can't really complain about that. Especially since last year it was too easy to dominate the ball. My teammates would give me the ball ANYTIME I asked no matter what.

We finished with 46 wins and are headed to playoffs. So there is hope. It's not like Charlotte is a super team or anything.

In my first season - I am only averaging 17 points a game. Since I have been a starter [10 minute quarters] I only average 20 points. The team wins and I don't have to be superman. Now I will admit - I am a beast on dem boards. If I don't rebound - we might be in trouble. But that's how it should be.

You have a legitimate gripe here - although I tend to get subbed a fair amount in the first half. Its the second half where it seems I play forever. I have had some games where realistic subs happen - but it's inconsistent.

Just try toi have fun with the mode for what it is and keep the faith!

I'm also having fun playing the game....and posted about it a few threads back. I play point for the Pelicans....and in my 2nd season we're currently the 1 seed 10 or so games past the break for the playoffs. We have lost 14 games. I think some people continue to try to play on HOF simulation.....and need to come down to superstar or all star. A few things....just based on my experience below.

-The game plays much more realistic. This year's game is way more team based than previous games. I call plays about 70% of the time.....and also use quick plays. I'm averaging 25 pts a game.....around 8 assists. The brow is in double digits close to 20 pts a game almost every game.
- Teammate chemistry is also huge..... ours is currently at 100%. You have to create rhythm and open looks on offense for consistent shooting.
- You have to mix up your approach....as the AI will adjust to doing the same thing over and over. I personally love the pick n roll. Mix it up.... take what's there. Alternate from pick n fade, roll, and pop. Mix in plays that create open looks....mid range.
- Play to your teammates strengths. Davis is a great pick and roll player so I use him as much as possible. He's also great in the post. So I mix in quick plays to let him post up and do his things. Evans is a slasher....so I set screens for him off ball to create driving opportunities. Gordon can shoot the 3 when he's hot. He's a volume shooter....so when he gets going....i feed him. Check the tendencies and badges that each one of your starter's has and find ways to play into those strengths.
- Driving to the rim and dunking is much harder in this year's game. Take the mid range jumper when you have it. AI makes you pay if you try to force low.
- If you can't call plays....set up your settings so that you can see all plays coach is calling. If you take the time to learn them....there are awesome plays that come with Doc Rivers in year 2.
- Dribble moves are much harder this year. Much more sensitive. If you figure out the timing on the sizeup, signature sizeup, crossover, and step back....you can still create decent looks. I still can break ankles....but does not happen as often as it did in last year's game.
- On defense you have can't just come up and smother and try to spam the steal button.It really all depends on player you're guarding. Play alot of help defense. Rotate to players who have gotten beat. Take risks....call double teams and poor ball handlers and try to trap....create turnovers.

I'm not trying to be "all knowing". I'm personally enjoying my experience and am trying to help some who are not. I would love to see the minutes reduced without rest.....the sensitivity of the dribble moves corrected, etc....but overall I'm having a blast with it.

So im in my 2nd season. .. we are at 82 in chemistry and hitting a nice stride. Won 6 in a row. Even tho the cpu cheats constantly. We have been able to persivere! Lol. My last 2 games were huge.

First was golden state. The other was the suns. Golden state was rediculous in the first quarter. It was 22 to 11 in a second! I never played against a more aggressive player. Curry shot everything. .. and hit everything. So... I had just won 4 in a row so I was determined to win so I settled in. Even tho my shot wasn't falling I focused on d. I have never shut someone down so effective then I did curry. He actually shot 11 of 42. I was mad disruptive and they still came back. But I just had to start driving to put them away. Biggest game I played. Dope.

Closing in on the end of my 2nd season in Charlotte, I haven't been looking at the standings but I assume with all the W's I see in my schedule we're pretty high in the East.
Only negatives I have is having to play 41 minutes and idk why my arm and leg sleeves are white when we're away. White looks good at home but dumb when the Hornets road jerseys are purple. Idk how to fix it cuz in cutscenes on road games and in the store they're black but when I play they're white

Have a question 2 any1 in their 2nd season or further, Doc becomes your coach in your 2nd year. Has any1 been traded or asked 4 a trade. Who is your new coach & what happens w/ the Doc Rivers coaching story & how is it 2 play w/ your new coach & team?!?

doc was my coach second season on the knicks. I asked for a trade five games in and ended up in Cleveland and my pay per game went up. Blatt my coach in Cleveland. I assume doc still in new York. Were in the semi against charlotte down 2-1. Beat pacers first round 4-1. Blew Charlotte out first game 100-72, but last two games I've lost by combined 48 pts lol. 6'0 pg 77 ovr.

It's mostly because you sim too much games, I got it in year two

I'm in year 2..... just past the all star break. I haven't simmed a game....but I still haven't made it to the deal. I did however, just get the Gatororade or Sprite deal. Went with Gatorade. *****SPOILER****** so stop here if you don't want to know this.....but Gatorade deal was pretty cool. Agent said I had to grow social media followers by 1,000,000 fans over the next 10 games. A couple games before I remembered in a cut scene with Pharell that he said if I "needed anything to let him know". So went to tweet to him and one of the options was "ask Pharell for help". Long story short....he helped me land the gatorade deal. Hope to get the shoe deal soon enough.... but I'm patient enough to wait it out.

Question . I have a 6'11 PF and often matched against 7'0 small forwards who can take me off the dribble, rebound, block me easy . Are there any caps based off height or does a 7'0 SF get the same privileges as a 6'8 SF?

As I experienced with stat caps (for centers) the shortest and the tallest possible player has exactly the same starting and capped stats, improving them costs the same too. So they are the same, just the taller guy is a higher overall.

If you trade away, Doc stays with your old team. I traded to the Bulls and Thibodo (?) is my coach, also no Doc cutscenes.

Is there anyway to change the replay and cuts after basket in the menu? I have to change this to never every time I start a game and it doesnt get saved

OMFG any1 else having the same glitch...I used to play in protland last season, but now in new season im with warriors and still in our locker room and anywhere else there is portland guy in portland jersey who is talking to me etc...very nice...

Fixable ? Or new career hahahah........
