Eh think I'm done with mycareer this time around. Honestly as a pg you can only take so much of your teammates missing wide open shots and the game loses its appeal really quickly with all the problems. Think I'm gonna go try out Mygm, I only experimented with it towards the end of 2k14

I had one of the most frustrating games of my life this morning. Had 25 points, 4 assists despite constantly passing the ball, and 6 stupid f*cking turnovers. You know it's bad when Marvin Williams is your most reliable shooter to pass the ball to.

PS4 I still cant get a shoe deal all ready saw nike/jordan rep. I'm in 2nd season second game after ASW. PG 28 ppg 4.9 apg 1.6 spg. 90 games played only simmed 5 became starter first season. I still haven't received the state farm A endorsement even though I deserve it. I became starter played more than 30 games as starter and recorded two double doubles with 10 assist (with 30+pts the 2nd time). So whats up with my endorsements.

I just had my first 40+ point game, to go with 10 assists. Hit 5 threes and Steve Kerr tweeted me.

The game was verse the Celtics, we were down in the 4th quarter and I put the team on my back scoring 8 consecutive points tied the game and ended up going in to overtime where we finished them off.

One of my favorite games thus far in MyCareer, I was in my living room juiced! LOL

Really thought Jackson Ellis would be hitting me up after that for the Nike shoe deal but only got a Brandon Knight cutscene and a Step Back Freeze badge.

The grind for the shoe deal continues.

So I know that the patch didn't list any gameplay/AI or mycareer improvements, but I just played my first game in about 5 days (been really busy) and it was shocking at how well my team played. I play on 12 minute quarters, and despite that, my team averages 80 points per game. Our previous season high was 95 which is pathetic. We had a streak of 6 games scoring under 80 points, where we averaged 76 a game.

In this game we were playing on all cylinders, players were shooting earlier in the shot clock, I was racking up assists because players were actually shooting when it logically made sense rather than refusing to shoot, the fast break was working better than it has in the past.

I didn't even have to try and do everything, I actually had a pretty bad shooting night (8-19 for 19 points), but we ended up winning 102-91, which probably doesn't sound that exciting, but consider that we had been averaging 80 per game, and also consider that if it weren't for the rubberband AI in the 4th quarter we were on pace for 115. We were up 86-66 at the end of the 3rd. We scored 26, 27, and 31 in the first 3 quarters, and then the comeback code kicked in and we scored 16 in the 4th, but yeah, those first 3 quarters was the best basketball this team has played ever.

So IDK if it was just a random good game, or if they actually did sneak a few gameplay/AI improvements in this patch, but I was happy. I've played 46 games now, 11 for these Sixers and 35 for Detroit who are almost equally bad, and this is the best I've seen. I got my teammate grade to almost 100 with Detroit and we still never played like this.

I've played about 40 MyCareer games since the patch and I've seen mostly terrible teammate play. They can't shoot, can't play D, and can't rebound. But then they'll be one game out of 7 or so where they'll play lights out.

It's really awful.

Also I just maxed my first attribute "bucket" or whatever they're called. Level 20 Athlete.

I'm an Athletic Point Forward. 78 overall. I'm a level 2 jump shooter (lol), level 3 inside scorer, level 20 athlete, level 16 playmaker, level 1 rebounder, level 3 defender.

I'm going to max playmaker, only 4 more upgrades needed, then work on defender and inside scorer, and I'll probably toss 1 into jump shooting occasionally. I want to be a raw scorer who relies on his athleticism early on to get buckets before becoming more polished a few years down the road.

Okay is anyone else curious about this... If we ask a player who is upcoming free agency to "form a big 3" does that mess up your chemistry with the current players on your rosters already? Cause I would like to sway KD OR Aldridge to sign if we could. Anyone know??

My teammate grade stayed at 100 when I asked Kyrie but then I requested a trade and left 5 games later

Forgot to mention in this post as well, all the sudden my teammate pick & roll defense was excellent, I was stunned. Guys were hedging and then recovering perfectly

Noticed that in some games I have bench players in their full warmups just STANDING on the court in the way of gameplay Has this happened to anybody else?

Um, wow.

I just made the starting lineup on the Pistons as a 66 OVERALL PG shooting a pathetic 36 FG%, a dreaded 2.3 APG...

Brandon Jennings who has an 80 OVERALL who is throwing up a 46 FG%, a decent 6.0 APG and a pretty good 18.1 PPG statline.

Yep, this mode is broken beyond belief.

Why would I get more minutes and overtake him in the starting lineup when I'm way worse???

Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy... this just absolutely kills any kind of immersion I had for this mode.

Right now Im trying to get that buzzer beater deal I saved the game with 5 sec left Im down by two gotta whop a three. PG Ovr 82 Fans 1.8M Team chem 91% Coach chem 75%. Im wondering do coach chem needs to go above 80% or Fans gotta be 2M+ the get that shoe deal.

Just got thrust into the starting line-up with my 2 way SG for the Kings love the quad even though we currently suck my first game was against the Spurs as a starter i played 36mins went 7-18 for 18pts 7rebs 7asts 6blks and 4tos we lost the game 85-92 even tho we should of won if me and Demarcus Cousins didnt start missing all of our shots in the 4th we prolly would of. It was a good game nonetheless against the Champs.

Yeah there's a huge variance in this game apparently. Many people say the AI teammates are consistently garbage, many others like myself find them to be perfectly competent.

At first I thought the people with bad teammates was related to them playing for bad teams (I've played on good teams, Raps and Blazers), but then I see people complaining that KD and Westbrook are useless, at the same time as other people say KD and Westbrook are beasts which carry the team and they can just be a roleplayer. This is across all difficulties too, people saying teammates are garbage on Pro and people saying teammates are fine in Superstar or HoF.

So yeah, tons of randomness because people's experience is just completely all over the map haha.
