It's not because of the team chemistry it's because we are a super team. Seriously think about it:

PG: Westbrook, arguably one of the 5 best in the league
    SF: KD, arguably top 2
PF: Serge Ibaka, defense wise probably top 2 or 3
C: me, rated 90, so the best damn Center in the league

How the hell do you lose games with a team like that? Seriously. If Lebron would have had either a top defensive Center or a top Point Guard at Miami they would have won everything and beaten everyone. Their only weakness was playing small ball and you could see that in their loss to the Mavs and to San Antonio. Same goes for the Cavs now. You have him and Irving, but not a really good Shooting Guard, if that dude developes fair enough, a really good Power Forward but again basically no Center and nobody with a decent Post Game. So again... fairly trigger happy and small ballish. Well my Thunder can play all of that: shooting from the outside and midrange, Post Game, Post Defence, Fast Breaks etc. who on earth is gonna beat that team? You have 3!!! players who put up at least 20-25 a night and in most cases more, you have 3! players who get at least 5 assists each and one player able to grab nearly 30 boards a night. Three players able to block at least 2 shots a night and 2 able to get up to 4 steals a night.

How will you beat them? Shoot from the outside? They will simply double team you and rely on their bigs to close the middle or funnel you in the middle. Go inside? You will get destroyed and owned by my player and Ibaka. Midrange? Ibaka, Durant and me are far too quick to allow you to get that shot of uncontested.

How you are gonna defend them? Fast Break? We have 5 players who run the fast breaks or start it, not one or two or three but 5! 5 options. Ibaka and me inside, Westbrook or Lamb outside or Durant and Westbrook penetration = unstoppable.

Outside shooting? Doesn't matter, we set hard screens and get our little guys inside and if not, take the ball and me and Ibaka do the Pick and Roll and just slam dunk all over the place because who is gonna stop a 7'2 280 pounds guy with Atheleticism maxed?

4 guys with a reliable midrange jumper if that doesn't work. And if that doesn't work we still have the pick and roll and penetration game. Furthermore the OKC playbook is really well balanced, the plays actually adjust themselves over time so there are always 2-3 options how to play them and they get everyone involved.

Seriously what is unrealistic is, that a team like that would ever exist. It does however because OKC traded away Reggie Jackson, Ibaka, Westbrook and KD have enough Bird years to be signed over the cap and I was comparitevely cheap with 5 Mio a year. Basically it's what could have happened for the Cavs: Dwayne, Bosh and Lebron with enough Bird years and you could sign Howard. OKC could have actually kept Harden since he also had enough Bird years etc. There simply haven't been any teams since Boston and the Lakers in the 80's that have had at least 4 of 5 players who were among the top in their position so not or barely losing is entirely possible. Chicago went 72-10.

I feel that. I'm just too much of a stickler for somethings for it to really be truly enjoyable for me.

More power to all that keep on MyCareer'ing. Just not for me is all.

The gameplay can be really frustrating at times. Things like missing easy layups with just the smallest amount of contact. This year you get more rewarded for jumpshots than getting to the basket, which should be the other way around.

One thing that could solve a lot of issues is adding sliders to MC. I understand they wont do that because of the cheating ability. But then they should only make it available for offline play.

Like I said, it could easily have happened several times. Chicago had 3 out of 5 tops and a strong bench and won their championships easily and usually gotten 60 or even 70 wins a season. The Lakers in the 70's and 80's had the same set up and went on tears going on huge winning streaks, Boston had the same and basically beat up everyone. Just look at those stats:

Those were teams with 3 very good players and some scrubs and a deep bench. Not think what another big player would have added... say 8-10 wins? Or take San Antonio... 3 decent guys, especially when they have gotten old, yet they won at least 50+ games for 17 years in a row now. It's simply luck and team building and of course the payroll. If guys want to win really bad, they will have to take a hit in terms of their salary and few if any will do that. Just think in real life terms: who could stop the Thunder if they ever had the luck of either trading for a really good big man OR actually have enough luck to draft one.

90 OVR in your 2nd season eh?

Yea I'm only 78 OVR at the middle of November in my 2nd season, but I only used the VC that I got from the games in my first season and from the 2k app. How did you get so much VC to get 90 OVR in your 2nd season?

Maybe he did the same as me. I was on the Kings without PO options so i play every game in my first season in HOF and doing A+ in every game. Thats help. I didn't buy VC.

I'm 93 OVR in PO second season.

For everybody who is complaining about difficulty.

I recommend to play "All-star sim" if you are in a bad team or your team chemistry is not at 100%.

Play "Superstar-Sim" if you are in a top team and your team chemistry is at 100%.

Just my opinion at this moment.

You still only get 800-1000 VC in every game with A+ and HOF multiplier, and you don't start your rookie season from the beginning. You start it halfway through. There is no way you can be 93 OVR in your second season without getting VC by "other means". You also don't get max VC in every game because of the different teams you play.

Playing game 1 of 2 in this 2 weeks span against the Cavs right now and i think both teams agreed before the game to just forget the whole defense concept as i guess they felt it just slows the game down or something idk....at the end of only the FIRST quarter and its currently 35-33 for the Cavs, their team shooting 68% and mine currently at 65% and they are 1/1 from long range and our team is 3/4.
top 3 scorers mfor each team thus far is
                      Irving 9 points 4/6 shooting
                      Love 8 points 4/4
James 7 points 3/4 plus an and 1

                      My team is
                      Valanciunas 10 points 5/5
Me 9 points 4/7 from field 1/1 from outside and added 7 assists so far
DeRozen 9 points, also 4/7 from field and 1/2 from outside

This is looking to be a 120 plus game for both teams it seems

This is on superstar sim btw

OUCH!!! no one on my team will be able to sit down for a month after the butt whooping we just had in that 2nd quarter, ive had bad quarters before but dang, this was unreal...

Cavs are now up a whopping 73-49 at the end of the half at one point going on a 15-0 run, they their shooting percentage actually went UP that quarter as they are now at 69% from the field tho they did go 0/3 from long range that quarter tho im sure those 3 shots were about the ONLY 3 they missed that entire quarter

My team went down to a 49% shooting percentage now and from long range we went from a nice 3/4 after the first quarter to now a 4/11 at the half.

i guess the only bright side to all this is the 2nd game that i play against them the next week in the schedule wont be as bad since near the end of the 2nd quarter, Kyrie Irving went down with what seemed to be a severe injury tho im not sure what it was yet or for how long he will be out for but his rating is currently showing a -20 right now so it looks serious MWAHAHAHA take that u pest..err i mean..that poor guy.

Oddly enuff, he is the THIRD PG that ive been matched up against this season that went down to injury during a game against us...Wall got a 2-4 month injury against us earlier in the season and Paul got knocked out for 1-2 months against us as well (guess that bruiser badge my Pg has is really paying off)

I played EVERY game. meaning 107 by now. I get A+ on every game, usually end up player of the game etc. My Career earning so far are around 107.000 VC. Athlete and Defender is upgraded to max I need another 6 bars for Inside scoring which will cost another 28.000 and another 20 bars for jump shot for 38.000, then get another 7 bars on rebounding to get that up to 15 for 17.000 VC and another 5 bars in ball handling for 3.000 VC.

I don't have any reason for lie. I got between 1.100-1.300VC for game in my rookie season. Also i have my endorsements my shoe deal with Nike etc. I'm 93 overall but at the end of the season.

The "others means" that i use is only some games in My League mode but at max i got 20.000VC i think.

Can't you only max out 3 sections? You start your career with only 73 upgrade points so that's 20 for athlete, 20 defender, 20 inside scoring, and then 13 distributed somewhere else and that's it. You don't get to max out every single section.

As far as I know you can get up to 100. I have unlocked up to 88 so far. So that makes 3 maxed out and either a 4th or half an half.
