Defense is blood boiling in my career and mypark . Seems I'm always stuck in an Animation or my guy is just flat out unresponsive .


Advice might sound silly but just remember it's a game it won't be perfect and is meant for fun. That way I can overlook those issues and still enjoy the game.

What difficulty can I play where my teammates will hit shots? I'm a C on the Warriors, playing on HOF default, I swear we would win games if my teammates could hit anything. By the middle of the 3rd, I'm getting an immediate double team and they are swarming the paint to stop me, but Steph Curry has gone 3-12, 1-8, 2-8, 4-15 in the last 4 games. Rudy Gay is the SF, he misses everything too. Thompson is hurt but the rookie they have misses most stuff too.

Will your teammates make open shots on Superstar or All Star? I just don't want it to be too easy, I like the challenge of HOF, and since I'm a C that negates the off rebounding issue most of you guards have. But I cant win the game alone when I'm drawing a double team the whole 4th quarter.

HOF is beyond a joke. It's as hard as it gets, just for the sake of being almost impossible to the point it's not even fun. Go down a level.

Wasn't too happy with my first PG MyCAREER...decided to restart.Made the same character except Im looking to play a scorer type who can still pass the ball pretty well...sorta like Steph Curry.On my first 10 day contract with the Magic and were straight garbage but whatever.

Just played in the Rising Stars game. Had 28 and 17, Embid and I were the only ones on our team who did squat. The guards on our team, players generated by the game, are all crappy shooters, and they were just throwing up brick after brick. We shot 36% in an All-Star game. Of course it's not really like an All-Star game, because the A.I. just plays it like a normal game, which I actually like. It was hilarious because the other team doubled me every time I got the ball, from the second quarter on. It's like, "dudes, it's an All-Star game, stop doubling me."

Hope my teammates on the East play better in the regular All-Star game.

So, I just finished my rookie season...got outed by the Rockets in the playoffs in 6. In a game where Dwight Howard had 32 and 13 rebounds. Nothing I could do could stop him, even me doubling him from my SF position wasn't enough.

Decided I wanted to go to the 76ers and build with a young team. To my surprise they offered me a Max Deal, at least I think it is, 15.53Mil is max for the contract after the rookie one?

I was hoping since I got a Max deal I'd get to choose some players I'd like to play with, maybe form a big 3 or something but I never got that option.

I'm hoping Embid and Noel are solid in the paint because I can stand giving up perimeter shots and mid range shots, but points in the paint irk my soul to ungodly levels. We'll see though.

Embid turns out pretty good in the game. I don't think he'll ever hit a 90 overall, but he's solid. MCW and Noel on the other hand...brick so many shots if they even take one.

Ugh...

How the eff do you play defense this year??? I keep skating all over the court when I so much as touch the turbo button! How can I defend like the cheesy CPU defense? I mean they can engage the enraging contact animation while driving even though they're 1 meter away from me. 1 METER!!! Are they all Darth Vaders??? Meanwhile I can't do it. AT ALL.

How lame is that?

Also, there's this cheese that I can't do but the CPU does all the time. When you're D'ing up your man nicely, preventing the pass. They then engage this animation where they do a fake and run and you're stuck behind. They get the pass and the layup.

Defense is so blood boiling to play this year. My player is a perimeter defender and yet he skates all over the court. I can't just not use turbo because then they can just drive and there's no contact from me even though I'm in front of them. WHY IS THIS?

How am I supposed to guard Durant/LeBron when I can't force them into contact animations? They're too fast to guard without the same cheese that the CPU forces me to be in.

My only suggestion is left turbo and right stick.. though I still find myself using the right turbo and running 10 feet past at times... if you get picked though.. you're done.. no help defense from teammates and you can't recover from the left turbo/right stick .. at least I haven't been able to once a screen is set

I had enough of the 76ers in 2K14 with a SF I tried.. will NEVER play for them in a 2K game again

This game is really annoying. Missing wide open jumpers? C'mon now. CPU makes everything, but my team can't even make a simple wide open jumper?

LeBron doesn't play like himself either. It's frustrating seeing him miss shots he normally make. Along with Kyrie and Kevin Love missing around the basket.


I hope a patch is coming soon.

Lord. None of my teammates play like themselves, and it's killing me. My chemistry is sitting at 96% too. This is unacceptable.

My only suggestion is left turbo and right stick.. though I still find myself using the right turbo and running 10 feet past at times... if you get picked though.. you're done.. no help defense from teammates and you can't recover from the left turbo/right stick .. at least I haven't been able to once a screen is set

I also really like how, most of the time, when the CPU is driving to the basket, if you bump him, you won't stop him, but get bounced out instead. I'm a 6"8' SG at 220 pounds and I can't even create contact? It's a joke.

strength(athlete) is more important than weight in this game. I play as 7 3 300 lb, still bounce off guards at times. i think its more about being in the 'right' position helps you initiate contact.

Does anyone know if the "form a big 3" thing on the social media is a legit offer or just for comedy sake?

I liked it in 2k13 when your GM would ask you what free agents you thought they should go for.
