Can you answer for me if you can putback dunk? I would be willing to max out rebounding if it did that for me since that's the most satisfying play for me. I have asked if anyone can do it, but I haven't been able to do it in any mode, ...only seen the cpu do it - a lot of that is because I think we're suction boxed out in every mode and can't get a fee lane with momentum to get up high enough to grab and dunk...

Not sure about MyCareer since I've never done it but I did see someone do a put back on I'm pretty sure the rec center. I remember being amazed cause I never saw that before and haven't seen it since.

when going for a rebound instead of pushing y push right analog stick towards rim might help idk

This is so infuriating.

So basically the CPU is 10 pts behind, and suddenly we get 3 illegal screens in a row.

And now they're only 3 pts behind. Talk about blatant cheating.

Anyone else finds playing Raptors even harder than Cleveland and OKC?
I mean Valanciunas is like Wilt.. Gets every rebound over Dwight and scores everything.. Lowry plays like A.I And Derozan just dunks all over my team lol.
Glad that we only have to play them twice.. we already lost both games anyways. But im afraid we might face them in playoffs.. They are on 25games winning streak aswell lol, Leading Eastern conference.

Just missed wide open layup LOL, didnt even have shooting fatigue.. Was 7/11 Bam, wide open, miss layup.

I think you hit the shot button rather than the rebound button when you're running in to attempt a putback dunk. Could be mistaken but I think that's how I managed to do it a few times on 2K14. I wonder if you need to improve rebounding to do it though or do you just need inside scoring?

Well this game... Its 37-27 on 2nd, we are leading. Coach takes me out, 6 min later its 39-39 like wtf... okay comes 4th quarter, we lead 77-65... Coach subs me out..I get subbed back in at 6:45 We are losing 84 to 94? This game is so bad sometimes, i wish they sort that stuff out... Ofc we couldnt win that, cuz everytime we scored they scored...

finally got a win. it was over the nuggets tho.

18 points 22 boards 10 assists 2-3 blocks and steals 7 turnovers. half off force passes rest off bs.

start of yr 5 1-6 with the kings.

hopefully i can get some badges unlock soon. I'm play 20 straight hopefully that unlock some badges.

wish i didn't have to put of hall of fame numbers just to win. I would prefer cousins be the go to man and get my other team mates involved with scoring at least first 3 quarters than i can score in 4th when most tired.

what does coach confidence effect and will it stop me from getting on court coach if i don't get it high.

OKC is by far the hardest for me. Westbrook is unguardable, him and Rose are the only match-ups I really struggle with. Throw in KD shooting 80% and my team is always doomed.

Same, I think the lowest Ive held westbrook to is 26 points, and each time I play Rose he drops 40. Every. Single. Time.

*Edit* I would Like to say that Stephen Curry could be added to this list, but he's a very passive aggressive scorer in the game. The few times he does shoot however, he never misses, which leads me to belive that if he was as aggressive as Rose and Westbrook he would be in this discussions as well.

That's what I did in 2k14 but it was tough in that game too, but in this game I have not done one a single time!

The instructions say you can push the right stick or square (x) to attempt a putback after getting hold of a rebound, very much like you can do with an alley oop finish - but pressing Y or triangle you don't normally get enough height, pushing square or x will, but you need more momentum or run-up which is almost impossible because of how the cpu is able to box you out so easily even around the charity stripe.

As I said, this is not some rare occurance in the NBA that only happens in a blue moon - I would say it happens more for some players than others but every other game isn't a stretch, so that's hundred for the season in the NBA and since this is a videogame if I'm playing 12min quarters it would make me very happy to be able to accomplish even just one a game with a few anomalies (some games 2, others none). I can easily get 4 offensive boards a game, so why not let me slam some of those home?

I don't want to lower the diff (if that would even help) because I'm happy with most other stats/events (other than illegal screens)

It really sucks to see the cpu do them and rock the rim on a huge putback slam, but not be able to pull that off myself - even when I would focus a whole career if I could on specializing on that one aspect of the game.

I think there is little you can do to stop certain players (like in real life I guess). I played OKC in the payoffs. I almost tanked the last few games so I could only someone else. I bet them but having to shoot 65% blows. I actually started to do what some teams do. I have single coverage on the super star and make them play "hero ball". Eventually the computer does it magic and they start missing a lot. Mind you, this is after they hit the 35 pt area.

I started a center and was looking at the stats to which team I wanted to go too. I looked at Toronto and they had 2 guys in the 80's with the rest comfortly in the 70's. I was like "how do they win so much?" Well, I picked them to be different. OMG....they are awesome to play with. There must be some hidden coding because they play better than their ratings would indicate. The big shocker....they pass the ball to me when I am open! Normally I have to get my points by getting offensive rebounds. Both Lowery and DeRosen passed to me on a pick and roll. When the guys collaped on me they pulled up and shot...how you think it should be. I run around picking guys off ball and they move it all over. What a freaking good team concept!
