I play everygame as a PG... My stats are 22pts 5rbs 9ass per game and i only have 3 turnovers per game.
It's probably your fault. I know because when i was not as good as i am now i used to lose the ball A LOT and even now, when i'm not really into the game, like not focused, it's easy to lose 3 or 4 balls almost in a row.
But if you REALLY play like it's a real game, if you're careful, it's quite easy to stay under 4... And it's also very related to the winning ratio i think. If you play a solid game as a point guard with great assists, great % and low turnovers, you'll win.

Created a 7'3" center, mostly to see how many rebounds I could average. Also wanted an excuse to play with Kobe in LA for my second season. The rebound experiment is going great, currently averaging 26 per game 4 games into season 2. Had a few games close to 40 rebounds, too. BUT my first game in LA, kobe gets injured. On his FIRST shot. And yes, it was a wide open jump shot, he came down and started clutching his knee. I turned off the game because I wasn't going to accept that. But then Kobe gets injured on the EXACT same play 3 games later...

Alright 2k, I get he's coming off injuries, so you've made his knees more prone to getting injured....but COME ON. Can we stop with this open jump shot injury cheese? I haven't seen one person get injured on a drive or after a hard foul in this game.

They didn't listen after the 2k14 injuries.. so many people had teammates injured when they weren't in the game to see it.. then never KNEW of the injury until the game was over. 100% of injuries (never heard of any others) in games you play come from wide open jumpers where your teammate crumples to the ground.. 2K really got lazy in that aspect the last couple of years

What setting you play on. On HOF I avg 40 points, 6 rebounds , 10 assists and I may turnover the ball maybe 2 times and still get blown out. This game is not realistic at all.

does weight or height matter in this game?

i have one center whos 7'2 240 pounds (maxed out athlete and defender)

then i have another center 7'3 328 pounds (Defender level 18, Athelete level 18 both 2 bars away from being maxed out)

            my 7'2 moves very nicely

Buy My 7'3 dude feels sluggish laterally is this because of the height and weight or is it because i need to max out my defender and athlete to feel the difference in movement?

i mean his running speed is fine but the lateral movement is a pain in the butt im guessing because my lateral quickness is currently only a 74

Its already been decided that if you play on HOF, your not going to have a good time.

Currently playing superstar, second season 12 games in, averaging 24.5 ppg, 3.5rbs, and 7.4 asst, and only 1.2 turnovers per game. Play for the Warriors, were currently 8-4.

Yeah, youd think two bars wouldnt make too big of a difference, but a lot of the attributes get like+4 off of an upgrade, especially during the later stages, so two bars could raise you from a 78 to a 86.

I havent really paid attention to defense lateral movement stat to much so I dont know for sure, but its worth checking out and seeing if thats the problem.

This is why I like playing around with different careers. I have a 7'1" 325 player and I think the weight has a lot more to do with it. Now it makes me want to try one not so heavy to see if it makes a difference.

I have to go learn how to play in the post. Coming from 2k14 on a PS3 I'm completely lost. Never really tried to post up so far(I'm in my 3rd season), but I have the category with post related atrributes pretty good, so I may as well put them to use.

44 games in, looks like im going to get the shoe endorsement the first of January since that'll be my 60th game played. Last game against the bulls, I completely went off in the first half. I dropped 20 in the first quarter on 9/10 shooting, got us a 10 point lead. For some odd reason, I actually sat most of the 2nd, on 10 minute quarters I came in with only 2 mins left. Finished the half with 25 points.

Second half, Derrick Rose came back on a mission , dropping 18 in the 3rd and 24 overall. The fourth was a back and fourth battle, but we ultimately prevailed when Curry decided to take off as well and dropped 16 in the 4th, 28 overall. Final score was 108-105, I finished with 35/8/4, Curry had 28/10/8, and Derrick had 32/7/10.

so far, that was the most intense game I've ever had in this mode. It would be pretty damn great if we met in the Finals.

I refused the donation with my alt SF career, since it seemed rediculous to spend another 1000 VC. You get blasted in the social media and get hit with "why are you such a greedy jerk" question at a press conference. All is forgotten by the next game, so no big deal.

Have to admit the scripted ending to some plays and games in general are maddening. I don't mind missing an open 10 footer or a contested put-back. That happens just like making crazy contested shots. It's when the computer's momentum scale or however they do it says that the other team is now going to go in a run and you will miss every shot REGARDLESS OFF THE TYPE OF SHOT, I just drop the controller. If I am right behind a player shooting the computer does not even consider I am there so I get the bad mark for poor defense. Yet, when I make a great pass and my guy has a dunk and their guy is behind...and it's in the 'script', he will miss even if it's completely uncontested.

I play on HOF with a 7'3" center. I play the same games the computer does with me. When I know the 'fix' is on....and I know it is when I miss an uncontested dunk, then I refuse to shoot it or pass to someone in the pick and roll (because they won't allow me an assist because I was the one who passed it). I just go under the boards. If I get the OR I pass it out even if wide open. Give it about a min or two...the momentum script changes and THEN I will shoot. That...is sooo lame to have to do.

Note to those playing bigs: my standard start on any offensive play (assuming you don't run plays which are generally terrible) is to stand arounf the free throw area and..well....stand. You become such an annoying clog vs the defense. I have spung Lowery for an easy layup so many times doing that. Plus, while they may play the ball handler well...if you cut to the basket side away from the other big on your team one of you will be open (assuming your pg passes) OR you will have a super easy OR. . You get there early and let the pg do his thing. I never get the moving screen foul because I am stationary way before anything happens. Easy baskets KIll scripted momentum swings. I am actually considering not playing my center because we beat everyone by 12+ even with the cheese from the computer. My stats are 22-24 (because I refuse to shoot)/6/20+ with 2 TO per game. My rating is 71.

SO far with Portland it's been far better than the TWolves (should have just signed here instead of staying with Wolves and asking for trade after about 20 games).. obviously.. had a couple ugly games as I've mentioned, where you know you've lost before halftime, based on how the game limits your player from doing what he normally does.. ..3rd in the West after 37 games.

I'm still trying to catch Durant for scoring leader but that's nearly impossible with 31.2 PPG for him.. 27.3 PPG myself. Of course I've made 10 more shots total than him but he's a freak behind the line at 44% making 4 per game.. he's got 8 games of AT LEAST 39 points and 4 over 40 and they are 30-7.

OKC averages 113.5 ppg and Cavs 111.9 in the 2nd season.

Back to getting screwed vs. a "good" team.. I am missing layup after layup against the Spurs.. shooting 3 of 10 (in the 1st quarter plus 2 minutes even) on what should be easy buckets.. One of those OBVIOUS games I've mentioned where you know the game won't let you succeed.. I never take that many 1st quarter shots but they should have been LAYUPS. Spurs of course are shooting 65% and have fast break points like crazy.

I know for a fact it's happening in THIS game because I sat the last 7 minutes of the 2nd quarter and we're up by 10 now after being down 6 when I left the game.. they WANT you to fail personally in games I believe.. soon as I came out of the game the Spurs shooting % plummeted to 47%.. yet it wasn't the guy I was guarding doing all the scoring. I had Parker more often than not for some reason, while Lillard sat the whole 5 minutes I played in the 2nd with Steve Blake ALREADY playing more minutes (5) in this game than any game in the season.

I did get stuck with volume shooter.. and upgraded to gold immediately two games ago.. but no matter what I do in a game against one of the TOP teams my shooting % is pathetic for the game..can't make a layup.. against the other 22 teams it's 52% for the season

Just had a new effed up animation too.. I went for an offensive rebound.. it was in my hands .. juggled it and got called for a turnover? Odd to actually see something new happen in my 77th career game.

More proof of the garbage when you play a "GOOD" team to balance it out so you don't dominate.. Tony Parker just had his first BLOCK of the season.. he blocked me DUNKING over him

I'm ready to call b.s. on 'volume shooter' too.. 2 games with that badge.. upgraded to GOLD.. and I've shot 26% combined for BOTH games.. haven't made a B+ jumper the entire game against San Antonio. 8 of 28 shooting against Spurs with 2 minutes left.. even WITH the red hot circle I couldn't put in a 10 footer, let alone a layup

Ended up shooting 8 for 31 against the Spurs trying to make a comeback.. the 10 point lead we got in the 2nd quarter with me on the bench went away immediately in the 3rd and couldn't get close in the 4th..

It may sound like whining but this is complete b.s. against OKC, Bulls, and Spurs in 2K.. zero chance for you to HELP your team win.. I couldn't even grab an offensive rebound in this one.. yet amazingly.. I got the hustle points badge now.. so we'll see if it lets me actually MAKE put-backs on offensive boards against the REST of the league again.

Last 4 games now the game's been doing this to me.. 12 of 31, 10 of 31, 13 of 28 and now 8 of 31 shooting.. WITH the GOLD volume shooter.. I even START OUT cold.. missing easy layups again.. as if I was the 64 OVR rookie all over again.

I don't understand why just out of the blue I became a player who can't shoot? Can you play TOO well and the game forces you to suck for a while to even out your stats?
