Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
Planning on creating a 6'10" PF like Blake Griffin, then going to Charlotte.. Up until last year I always made a PG but last year I changed it up and made a SG, this year like I said in the beginning, I'm making a PFFavorite Teams:
NCAAB- Duke Blue Devils (Defending National Champs!)
NASCAR- Kevin Harvick (Defending Sprint Cup Champ!)
NBA- Los Angeles Clippers
MLB- Miami Marlins
NFL- New York Jets
NCAAF- Duke Blue Devils
NHL- Carolina HurricanesComment

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
I was originally planning to make a PF for 2k15, but after experimenting with one with my last 150k VC in 2k14... I'm going to stick with a SF at the most. I find that my PF feels sluggish, and strangely seems to have more trouble getting rebounds than my SF despite much better rebounding stats.
He also has some strange disease that doesn't allow him to jump more than once (maybe twice) in a row... when the CPU pops the ball out of my hands on a rebound (or I pop the ball out of the CPUs hands), the CPU can immediately jump but my PF strangely acts like he's on drugs and the ball appears like a rainbow unicorn to him... he stares at it until the CPU grabs the rebound... all the while I'm furiously spamming the (Triangle) button and asking my imaginary friend who is sitting next to me "WHY ISN'T HE JUMPING???".
So, yes... probably a SF...Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
The Wizards already have John Wall so I don't get that choice, but you left out Indiana. They're probably the best team with no PG. Milwaukee and Orlando make some sense, but if free agency mirrors real life no one will want to go there. A sneaky good place to go could be Philly, but you'd have to compete with MCW, and you'd also have to trust the computer GM not to be completely incompetent, which is a pretty big leap. If the GM is any good and you show some talent then maybe a trade of MCW and a healthy Noel and Embiid could be nice, but that's expecting a lot to go well. If you want to compete, but not after someone like Wall NO would be a good place as well.
Consider the Wizards and the Pelicans. Their best big men are Nene and Anthony respectively and they're both listed as PFs in the game. Also don't leave out OKC. That's probably the #1 place for a center in terms of team construction and who's in front of you. There's also Miami, but their PGs suck, and you shouldn't have to do much to overtake Varejao in Cleveland.
That's the only team I would do that to. Every other team my criteria is that the starter has to be under 80 to make it seem sorta realistic that I would take over.
I wouldn't go Indiana as they don't really run. I like to get out on the break. I tried them last year, and Hibbert was toooooooo slow for me to play with any consistency.
To the other guy, I wouldn't choose the Wiz to go to as a big man. They've added a lot of nice pieces so it would be an over abundance of bigs if you try to play with them.

Gonna be a pass first point guard, not sure where I want to play yet, obviously looking for a team that is desperate for a PG.
I think Ive narrowed it down to Detroit, Houston, or SacramentoREDSKINS & WIZARDSComment

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
I'm going to start with an undersized SG, not sure what play type yet and go for either the Raps (since I'm Canadian) or the Cavs (My favorite team for 10+ years). Then we'll see what happens from there. Hopefully I can get more than a season in this year without starting a new one.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
I'm looking to make a 6'5" Athletic SG who has a pass/team first mindset. I tried this is 2k14 and still ended up averaging over twenty points a game, so I'm hoping this year my team will be more competent on offense with the whole freelance offense system that's been added.
I played 2k13 on the Wii, and it was basically a broken version of 2k11, but in MyCareer, by keeping my stamina rating low, I actually remained a sixth man for my entire rookie season, and I absolutely loved it. So while I doubt it's possible, I want to have a bench role and be the glue guy that may or may not play the big minutes down the stretch of a game.
I'm looking to play with the Bucks actually to see if I can start a dynasty with Giannis and Jabari, and hopefully the GM can build around us properly. If not, I might try to play for a contender just to see if its tougher to get into the rotation.
Can't wait to get started. Got my PS4 camera yesterday, and pre-order is good to go. Just 5 days to go!!!Comment
