Does anyone else always get their shots blocked when driving to the paint? Driving me crazy.

Its alright, when I first joined the Pelicans, I thought they were a legit contender. But nah. Ended up 14th in the Conference at the end of the season.Comment

Picked by the wolves. We suck lol. I was playing against Denver and affalo ran the made the same play 4 times. A jump shot from the free throw line. My teammates can't guard at all. And while it's fun throwing alley oops to wiggins it's getting old fast.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
If you play any other mode/quick game you'll notice how much different it is. It actually feels like it is "Sim"
I just played my first quick game (had been doing all MyCareer) and it was Lakers (me) vs. Boston. I ended up winning 55-50 but it was a close back and forth game with me hitting a 3 to with Kobe and FTs at the end of the game. It was so much fun.
So while the CPU is still not great in MyCareer, it's awesome in other modes. IMO (Don't want to derail the thread, just thought you should keep it in mind)Fino Alla Fine

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
Up 17 points over Golden State in the 1st quarter finished up 29-16 IN the 1st.. down by 2 at the half.. nearly ALL Curry layups.. lost 111-91 and I didn't see a minute of the 4th quarter.. yet coach liked how I was playing when I was subbed out in the 3rd..
ONLY positive was my second double-double in a row.. .. well, and I didn't miss any of 5 free throws.. getting that timing down now a bit
In the midst of this long ..and bad.. losing streak, just got out butts chewed at practice.. this is funny bad
2nd 10-day is over so of course I get the remainder of the season... not that I want to be on the TWolves if they're going to be this bad.. they've been inbounding the ball to Pekovic lately.. and he stands out at the 3 point line like Dante Cunningham did in 2k14
Film room after practice and they show a LeBron and Cavs highlight video?
So far spark plug and cool & collected badges.. and got my first endorsement.. how is the food at Dottie's Diner??Last edited by DHMN69; 10-09-2014, 12:18 AM.View Through My Lens sports photography

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
Alright so I just finished up my first season and free agency with my 6'3" PG for the Orlando Magic. To recap things, my Magic went a lowly 20-62 and were seemingly blown out by 25+ more often then not, but that didn't stop me from averaging 17.7 PPG, 4.9 RPG, and 5.1 APG. I also improved my overall to 74 while upgrading all of my stats equally (besides rebounding, it's pointless) so I was pleased with my rookie season despite all the losing.
In the offseason, my agent had me decide which 3 teams I wanted to play for the most and I went with the Knicks, Rockets, and Mavericks. Throughout the months leading up to free agency I got recruiting visits from Channing Frye, Trey Burke, and Eric Gordon, but I wasn't impressed with them at all. Come signing day, I decided to go ahead and sign on with the New York Knicks for 1 year at $3.09M
The Knicks went 48-34 last season so they have plenty of pieces and I saw myself fitting in really well with the offense. Plus I could see Doc Rivers leaving the Clipper for the Knicks if something crazy went down and Derek Fisher was fired. I also really like the 1 year contract that I'm on so I can reevaluate things after the season and if we suck I can jump ship.
This mode is really enjoyable when everything is working properly and easily the best MyCareer experience yet (despite the cheesiness), it's just a shame that the servers are killing the mode right now. I managed to play a LONG session today without being booted off though so things are looking up!Chicago Bulls | Chicago Bears | Chicago White Sox | Chicago BlackhawksComment

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
Started my first game with the Hornets at Utah and I made the most of it, scoring a career high 30 points on 14/23 shooting, and 27 Rebounds with 5 Blocks (as a 6'11" 245lb PF). Al Jefferson and Cody Zeller are out so I have free reign inside. Through about 20-25 games in my career I'm averaging 11 PPG and 9 RPG, I'm listed as an Offensive Minded Forward but I'm trying to make him more of an athletic PF that has a mid range game, good on D and can handle the ball.
Negative I have (other than my face getting deleted), when the coach wants me to do certain things Idk what to do. He said he wanted spacing so I soaced the floor, Nope, he asked me to take open shots and get teammates involved (keeping in mind that I'm not the focus on offense as it is) so in about 6-7 possessions I scored 2 points (1/1 shooting) had an assist and set a screen for score, I didn't touch the ball the other possessions. But Nope. Then he wanted defensive rebounds (which I do good with) but on 7 defensive possessions the Jazz made 5 shots, 1 was blocked by and fell into the hands of MKG and the other miss was a block by me, and it was a Nope. Love the gameplay but cmon manFavorite Teams:

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
(don't spend VC on rebounding, it's pointless)
CPU John Henson and CPU Larry Sanders just stand flatfooted in the paint all game like their shoes are glued to the floor. They don't box their man out. They rarely jump to contest inside shots. And they rarely leave their feet to grab loose balls or rebounds.
I basically have to do their jobs for them, or my team will get killed all game long in the paint.
