Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
Usually yeah. That way I'm not pissed if my teammates give up a big lead or something. It also helps my teammates get going for when I come back in the game. This strategy can bite you though. A few times I've come back in and the CPU has had 15-20 point leads that no matter how well I played I couldn't overcome them.
How good is this on Superstar or HOF?Comment

Guys, Best layup package?
I used to use D rose because it looks good this year but i started using c.anthony now. That's the quickest and good.
But what are you guys using and think is best?Comment

But there's another thing. Your inside shot close and moving shot close from the jumpshot category effects inside scoring. Also your athletic ability. You can see your inside scoring grade goes up if you upgrade those as well.Comment

I didn't try it on HOF and SS you have to be really careful, you have to have teammates you can count on. I wouldn't try this on SS against some teams(OKC, CLE, SA, LAC, CHI or GS) with my current lineup with Walker and Brian Roberts injured without getting a few buckets and a lead first. I have 2 rookies(60 and 63) getting PT that don't score well so I'd try to make up for their lack of production. You just have to switch the timing of the fouls up depending on the situation. Sometimes I'll foul early(11 min mark 1 quarter), score, get some assists to get others going and then foul a second time around the 3-4 minute mark. The coach usually takes me out and doesn't put me back in until around the 5-7 minute mark in the 2nd quarter. And sometimes I'll play the whole 1st with 1 foul, the coach always sits me for the first 3-4 minutes of the 2nd, and pick I'll up fouls 2 and 3 in the 2nd around the 5 minute mark of the 2nd so the coach will sit me for the last 5 minutes of the 1st and about the first 5 minutes of the 2nd half.Say "No" to railroaded MC modes.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
Just played a game against the Timberwolves...Ricky Rubio went 5/6 from three. Several of those makes were contested, pull-up shot clock buzzer beaters. Meanwhile, Eric Gordon went 1/6 from three (and, as usual, two or three of his misses got swatted even though he was initially wide-open) and Jrue Holiday went 0/3. I've built up a pretty good center who draws plenty of double teams, so I can get Gordon, Holiday and, on the rare occasions we're in the game together, Ryan Anderson really good wide-open looks.
On another note, who else is playing as a center and has experienced the "wanna bang my head against a brick wall" frustration of your center short arming it and/or throwing a shot off the side of the backboard when he turns baseline for a hook shot? I recently had a monster game where I went for 53 points on 23/29 shooting (7/10 from the FT line) and I think all but maybe one or two of my misses came when my center turned baseline and didn't even get the shot to the rim despite not getting it blocked.
And I know this probably isn't easy or even doable, but I wish 2K could find a way to take current, developing storylines in your MyCareer and incorporate them into post game pressers, meetings with your agents, Tweets, etc. When I joined the Pelicans 30 games ago they were 19-25 and in 10th place in the Western Conference. And in those 30 games (since I joined the team) we've gone 24-6 and have climbed to 5th place in the West. It'd be nice to see that has some sort of story developed in relation to that. It took me a few games to acclimate to MyPlayer after spending the first several months I had the game strictly playing MyLeague, but I'm still averaging 24 pts, 13 reb, 4 ast, 3 blk on 58% shooting.Comment

I also have a center playing for the Pelicans. Is there a way for the team to give Davis the ball more? They seem to barely pass him the ball, even when he gets good position in the post. It gets frustrating and I have to be the one to pass it to him, and most of the time, the ball gets turned over.Say "No" to railroaded MC modes.Comment

If you're playing on the PS4, have your teammates pass you the ball and then swipe right on the touchpad to call a quick post. Since he is the best post player without the ball he should post up then just pass the ball to the guard closest to him and he should make an entry pass to the post.Comment

Feel like the difference between superstar and hall of fame is WAY too big. After the patch, I went back to SS because HoF was ridiculously difficult whereas pre-patch it was hard, but not so hard that I couldn't win. Now, we've swept Memphis in round 1 of the playoffs and I've scored 25 with 12 rebounds and 6 assists in the first half vs the Spurs, on 8-10 shooting. I dare say it's too easy and HoF is too hard.
