I also think this game is scripted. After going down yesterday 3-0 in the Finals against Houston...we not only win games 4 and 5 but we DOMINATE and win each game by at least 10 points...

It could be that i started running 2-3 zone but i doubt it...i think its scripted. Going to go for the title tonight and lets see how this works out.

Now having 2nd thoughts about Houston...they would be stacked and it might be too easy...perhaps Miami, Knicks or stay in Atlanta. Dunno but these games for the title are 1st.
Comeback can happen...thanks to EA Sports!

Lillard is continuously out for 6-8 weeks with a hyper-extended shoulder, Irving 6-8 weeks with a pinched nerve in his back, 4-6 weeks Beal with a broken nose and many other players.
Sorry you are having trouble with injuries.

Injuries struck the SG core of my Laker team - Kobe, Young, and the next 3 in-line for play-time at the SG position all were injured at the same time. With me, Kobe came back stronger and is 2nd in PPG and 5th in 3-pointer percentage - so the "break" did him good.

Young on the other hand went from 15PPG to 5PPG and has had his playing time reduced to almost DNP_CD status.

So I think injuries are random in results. I look at the time affected only - the official "injury" makes no sense so instead I just look at the "time out" or "time-to-heal" and go from there. If one of my players is playing injured I find it best to drop them down in the pecking order for touches and that seems to help make them more efficient as well.

I am having the hardest time making 3's on Super Star Sim. Seems like I can only make if release is green and I can hardly get green. Have tried a few shots that I like but it's crazy how much I'm missing now...like I said even wide open shots. Probably just me though just annoying.

One thing I found this year is that the "Sweat-spot" for 3's is deeper this year than in the past 4 years. It used to be that if you were a foot off the line on either the right or left center you would make money shots.

This year I find being more like 5 feet back for the "long three" shots is better for the sweet-spot. Try it and it might help.

I do not have the best percentage but in the year's worth of time that I've been making this adjustment I've gone up 200% points - without me changing release forms or timing or anything.

Thanks will give it a try, do you use the button to shoot 3's or the stick?

On lay-ups and dunks, I use the stick. On anything else, I use the button (mostly because my reflexes are trained that way).

I finally got my PS4, and my copy of 2k. I started playing MyCareer with a 6'6, 205lb SG, and got picked up my the Suns. There's like 23 games left in the season and we're 8th in the playoff race, half a game in front of the Jazz. And I can't hit any shots to save my life, most games. Its like I'm way too early, or way too late. Do you guys have like favorite shot releases?

I really like Damian Lillard's release. And Steph Curry's. Once you get used to it it is money. But if you don't want to spend VC, release 33 is a good one.

Has anyone played with kawhi leonard, would he be a good player to choose for a big 3? I want one of the big three to be a good 2 way perimeter player.

another thing i want to know is if your player can get tired during the season and have it affect your play? I know theres a thing that tells if players are tired or not, but idk how to find it. Im curious cuz ive led my team in scoring through the playoffs(31 ppg 47% shooting) and ive willed my team to the conference finals, but now that were here my shooting is horrendous. I just wanna know if it could be fatigue.

Every game we lost, we couldnt hit wide open shots at all, every rockets player could shoot, and contesting shots didnt matter, they still went in. Everytime we forced a comeback the cpu would come out of nowhere to steal the ball, wide open shots(and i mean only person on that side of the court wide open) would brick one right after another, for the last few mins of the game, and dwight howard was hitting pull up jumpers(facepalm). So ill take the win, but its hard to accept it when it was clearly scripted.

It IS scripted. It ALWAYS is even against bad teams. Playing the good teams is intolerable. It does not matter the shot type. If you go off, the computer simply makes everyone else suck MORE. I don't know why I bother. The last game I was playing Minn. The half started and the I passed on a pick and roll and Love BRICKED the layup with his defender beaten bad. AS SOON AS THIS HAPPENED. I rolled my eyes knowing....KNOWING...they would make their first three shots, miss the next two and then make a few more. I was MONEY in my prediction. My 7'2" center with 85 vertical could not jump 2" off the floor to block the 6' pgs shot. Anyone who plays this game for any meaniningful time knows it is straight out scripted. It's like why bother setting pick and rolls or whatever. Unless you hit a perfect release.....of which I am completely of the opinion that there are shots that it is impossible to get a perfect release.

                      Sh-t scripted game

                        LMAO!!!!!!

It literally just happened in the very next quarter!!!!! After the first miss I said "Oh brother. Here it goes again" We missed 3 WIDE OPEN shots and they hit 3 contested...one that was ridiculous. What happens on their 4th shot? I already knew they were going to SHOCKINGLY miss it.

I think I am about done with this game. Maybe the FIFA soccer one is not as scripted.

I'm not sure what changes they've made patch wise since I last played, but MyPlayer on Pro put up the largest rebound total I've ever had in this game. lol

I've always played on Pro, because I'm not that great at it... and if it's going to be so heavily scripted, I should at least be able to enjoy it (for the most part).

I got called for goal tending against Westbrook attempting to score a few times for blocking the shot while it was still in his hand... Durant was shooting balls that went through my player's hand and teammate's hands. Heck, watching go THROUGH 2 players for a dunk... literally phaseshifted through them. lol

Injuries aren't really affecting my team as much as the rest of the league. Irving played all 82 games while he was supposed to be out for 6-8 weeks, averaging 5.3 mpg and scoring 2.3 ppg. My issues are these guys aren't healing AND the CPU is still giving them PT. LeBron went from averaging 32, 8 and 8 to 29, 6 and 7 because the game played him 1-5 mpg for 8 games while he was supposed to be out 2 weeks. Melo played 4 games in the playoffs while out 6-8 weeks with a broken ankle. It's screwing up players stats and it's killing teams that have maybe 1 or 2 really good players they rely on.

Probably my most efficient game on MyCareer yet. Didn't take any jump shots and got into the paint every time. Well, unless you count post fades as jump shots in which case I took a couple.

My Cavs have just secured a playoff berth after 68 games, with a record of 47-21, a game behind the 76ers who lead the East 47-19 and level with Indiana who are 46-20. This is how my team mates and me are performing this season:

I lead the league in points per game ahead of Durant who averages 26.9, I lead in rebounds per game ahead of Anthony Davis who averages 13 and I'm fifth in the league for assists, with John Wall leads with 9.3 per game.

In terms of more advanced stuff, I have a league leading and record breaking PER of 36, an Efficiency of 43.6, a league fifth-best .649 true shooting percentage and a league leading 31.5 estimated wins added.

I got my fourth All-Star selection earlier in the year and I'm leading the race for a second successive MVP title. Thanks to an injury to Anthony Davis, I'm leading the race for DPOY, helped by averaging over 2 in both steals and blocks since the All Star break.

It depends on what level you play on really. The higher the level...the more every player SUCKS. I have LeBron on my team. If he played defense in RL like he did in my last game he would be sitting in the bench. When the computer needed to correct the score they would run a pick at the baseline and send the shooter to the 3pt line for a shot. LeBron would not even make it past the screen by the time the shot was off. Shooting wise LeBron SHOULD be over 50% even in the real world much eas this one where I give him baskets in a hand bag for dunks...yet he is at 47%. In games I don't sim, he shoots below 40%. Actually, on average....without me....my team has averaged 36-38% shooting. Isn't that a joke?

So as for Leonard, I would guess he would be very average on your team because he is not agressive on offense. Tristin Thompson would be really nice...Curry moreso. Harden is actually VERY good even on higher difficulties. If he is on you just keep tossing it to him. If he is cold...DONT PASS IT!!! Melo is straight crap.

                                So...IMO....Harden is the best.
