Agreed, height definitely makes a difference. I recently restarted MyCareer and followed this post and it was a big help in what to do and what not, even though some of the stuff was common sense that I knew already.

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
Anyone know if I can get the shoe deal when I have gotten the State Farm endorsement but for some reason I can't get the Sprint one even though it says it is available. Or is my save glitched?Spoiler

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
14 games left in my SF season, I'm working on getting Deadeye, Stepback Freeze and Master In and Out as my last badges on my SF. Deadeye is a pain since my team is lost the game against Thunder and the Warriors because I'm just chucking up shots.
Were 51-17 now and only 2 games ahead of the Thunders for 1st.Last edited by TrustedDegree4; 02-04-2015, 02:48 AM.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
I finally finish up my 2nd season, 1st with the Lakers, with my PG. After starting so bad, we finished in a mean winning streak and finally got 8th seed with 43-39 balance, playing against the Thunder in the first round. I finished the RS with around 27 pts, 9 reb, 8 ast, 2.3 stl, 2 blk, 50 %FG, 35 % 3P, 89 %FT, 2.3 TO. I got DPOY, 1st All-NBA, 1st Def team; Westbrook MVP (yes, over KD), Mathews Sixth Man and Napier MIP.
I played the first game of the playoffs, it was a really competitive game, Thunder was almost always leading, but just by a few points. The good thing about it is that I never really felt I was "cheated", there was never a sensation of real "2k cheese" going on. They are simply a better team than we are, and Calderón was done for the season, and Foye was still half-injured, so Clarkson had to play a lot (doing a decent job). We'll probably end up eliminated, I hope we can win at least one game to avoid the sweep. We'll see...Last edited by jackzagal; 02-04-2015, 12:19 AM.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
For those that have not noticed: The 2-3 roster update revamps the distribution of badges -- This is a big deal - the game experience should be better as to volume shooting, lobs, etc.
This might be a good time to begin a new career for those thinking of it. The new on-game experience should be better than the earlier files.Comment

So you stopped Westbrook? What difficulty? What's your defensive ratings? I stopped playing pg because I was having a HORRIBLE time staying in front of quick guys like Westbrook. I got no defensive help (especially on pick and rolls). I am level 7 on defense. Just wondering if I was much higher if it would make a difference. Right now Westbrook moves past me as if I have no defensive presence. When I drive their 'defensive zone' extends 2 feet away from their body hence it stopes me cold.Comment

Yes, but then they can just pull up and shoot a 3. I guess we are damned if we do...damned if we don't. I just wish the program was fair.Comment

I have more issues with the shot clock cheese than them shooting 3's in front of me. They seem to make a lot of of those jumpers when the shot clock is down to 0 and make them. It's annoying.Comment

The worse case of that issue is Lillard. With Westbrook, you can get a little far from him because he's not big of a shooter, more of a slasher; same for Rose. With Curry, he's the best 3pt shooter but not a good slasher, so you can be close to him to avoid 3s because he won't blow past you that much. With Rondo, you can even sag off because he's a below-average 3pt shooter. But Lillard has it all, he's such a nightmare to defend, even with high defensive ratings; thankfully I didn't play against him in the first roundComment
