Still trying to get Unfazed on my PF.

As a PF, how did you get the shoe deal? Did you have to average 5 assists over 10 games?

I've played pretty much every game the second season and I haven't seen Pharrell the 2nd time yet. As a PF what are the endorsements I need before the shoe deal?

EDIT: Read the workaround thread. Don't care about the shoe deal anymore as much, I can wait for my sig shoe. I suppose my question still remains, how to get these endorsements as a PF?

My rookie year I don't have it yet. I used this method.

Yes, but then they can just pull up and shoot a 3. I guess we are damned if we do...damned if we don't. I just wish the program was fair.

So....just like real life? That's the same thing defenders have to think about when they defend guards in the NBA. When guarding Westbrook, do you let him drive or do you try and force him to pass or jack a 3. Same with Derrick Rose. These players are very tough to beat and it should be that way.

I am in year 4 with my PG and with all my defensive badges there is a single CPU generated PG that is rated 88 and a rookie who plays for the Raptors who uses the Ronnie2k shot release and runs a double screen play from the left baseline/corner all of the time and get into the paint and pull a 180 and run directly to the weakside about 2 feet beyond the 3 point line and jack it up.

After seeing it the first time I manually ran around the picks to the paint as I knew it would be quicker to get into position and not running into the picks wouldn't activate the rest of their play action and I was in place to contest and even swat any type of shot except possibly a leaning fade, then boom, back to the 3 point line again.

I ended up looking at his badges and he had pick and roll and limitless range along with some of the most fouled up tendencies I have seen.

He scored 11 points I believe. It was the one of the craziest things I have seen in 2k15.

But Rose, Westbrook and Curry to a lesser extent like you said, are always a hassle to guard and I agree as well it should be that way. I find even on HoF/Sim that some of the lesser guards are way too easy to defend. If they aren't a PnR Maestro with a brick wall, the defensive end almost bores me.

I think they took it out of MyCareer this year.

They sure did. If can determine the playoff seeding by the league standings, but during the playoffs the only thing you can check on is your opponent via the calender.

My Penny 5 Signature shoes



Got 11 games left in my season and I just earned Deadeye. Leading the MVP Race, Lead Scorer in the NBA, and Second behind Anthony Davis for DPOY. Still upset that I can't win ROTY. Was one of the best awards aside from MVP and DPOY to win in MyCareer. Ima let y'all now the stats once I finish my second season.

How much of a difference does it make? So the CPU won't cheese?

Rashidi, the roster guru active in the community said the following:

Just from working on this, I'm only halfway done but I can tell you this will have a sweeping impact on the gameplay. Badges matter more than ratings in many regards.

While this was probably unintentional from 2K's part, these badges directly affect many of the complaints people have (inconsistent shooting, unrealistic missed dunks). It could also make the game a bit arcadey if they're overdone. I'll play a few games afterwards to get a feel.

I am still working on the 100k vc I want to have to start my next PG before starting a new file so I can not speak from experience.

So you stopped Westbrook? What difficulty? What's your defensive ratings? I stopped playing pg because I was having a HORRIBLE time staying in front of quick guys like Westbrook...

With the faster guards, the lateral movement within the defensive skill tree is essential. (Westbrook, Lillard, Teague, ect) So maxing out defense does help.

There are other things you can do to help as well. Besides starting your defense out further away as stated above, you can use shading, movement and your own teammates in helping (sometimes unintentionally they help.

1. Stay active in your movement - against the faster guards, you can counter the ai's choosing an attack decision by being between attack points - get in the right rhythm and it "freezes" the ai decision process.
2. Shade these guys to one side of the court. Try to use your corner defenders here to help you - the teammates will be like traffic cones but if your assignment gets within "force-field range" then they will often look to pass to avoid you + 2nd defender
3. When the PG starts driving remember your guy and he act like "bumper cars" with regards to spacing - If you are positioned slightly ahead and inside of your assignment as they drive you can often use your force-field to push him to the baseline.

There are times they will burn you, no matter what you do. In my last game vs Lillard, I foiled him 3 times in a row but since the computer wanted him to score it kept him attacking and eventually he got the points. This happens to every player but when playing against the Westbrook types it means it can be "dialed" to do so a couple of times in a row.

If these types of hints help, I'll try to post more - if everyone finds them useless let me know too - I really take defense in this game serious and it seems it is hard for a lot of people to figure out.

Have you simulated game during the season? I think you have to play 48 games during the season without simulating to get a shoe deal.

Do any of the lay up packages help getting foul calls, or is just completely broken? As much as the missed dunks(ok throw the ball into the stands instead of a clean dunk) is horrible, the getting close lined and laying on the ground for an hour is so much worse.
