It seems everyone that has had that option, has received a max contract(so had to hit FA), and in the 2nd year the GM gives you a list of targets. Otherwise it's just a roll of the dice if the team gets any help from trades

I forgot how frustrating the early part of MyCareer can be. I've been playing as both a SG and a PG- both in their 3rd years. I started a new career as a Small Forward- I'm in the middle of my 2nd 10 day contract on the Hawks. In a game last night- I had the following consecutive sequences:

-Bricked back to back wide open shots- tough to get a clean release on HOF- much less with a player whose only a level 10 outside shooter.
-Teammate misses a shot- I try to corral the rebound- but it bounces off my hands and goes out of bounds- I get 'credit' for a 'turnover'
- 45 year old Vince Carter blows past me- as I try to guard him- he throws down a vicious dunk- no one on my team rotates to the hoop to contest.
- On offense- I call for a pick- and make for the hoop- I throw down a dunk- but I miss the dunk.
-Next time down on offense- I'm running a 2 on 2 break. I draw the defenders nearer to me- and throw a bounce pass to my streaking teammate- the ball bounces past him and goes out of bounds.

Also- we lost the game by 30 (6 minute quarters).

All I can do is laugh.

Made a PF and I'm loving it!! 6ft 9in 240 and I made he's offensive zbo with a good defense

I'm kind of struggling without Melo on my team(NYK), but I mainly blame it on them using Quincy Acy at SF instead of Danny Granger. In fact, they put Granger at the 4, and Acy at the 3 at the same time every game, and I'm sure it causes floor spacing issues. Anyways, I'm working through it. Have to score a little more(averaging 19ppg this season) as opposed to my career average of 14ppg, but it's ok, we're still in the playoff race. Starting to figure it out. Also, they have Amare re-injuring himself all the time, I'll live with that. He's out for the season in my head. Makes me stop worrying about it, because I feel like if we had Amare they'd stop playing Acy at SF. We'll be okay though.

Well, my Atlanta to SA PG is starting to carry the Spurs back into contention this season.

If you remember, I took Atlanta to a Championship last year but they refused to give me more than a low-ball two year deal in off-season negotiations. So I ended up taking a max deal that led to San Antonio.

San Antonio last year won 62 games but this year Tim Duncan retired. Bonner and Leonard are also suffering chronic injuries this year - 6-8 week injuries that keep getting re-aggravated every 3rd game. They also signed Glenn Davis in the off-season.

I mentioned Glenn Davis because he has come in as the starter to cover for an injured Boris Diaw and has actually produced - in a recent game I had all four bigs in double digit rebounds and points! It was against the Kings but still, how often do you see 40+ rebounds accounted for by the ai?

Glen Davis and Splitter seem to compliment each other well. Something Diaw and Splitter seemed to have trouble doing.

So we have climbed in the standings from a strong 10th to a solid 5th seed. We also have our team's point differential in positive territory for the first time all season.

I haven't posted in here for a while. Been so busy winning MVPs. 2019-20 season finished, my first full season staying with one team in ANY 2K game (I know, I'm not loyal usually) but the Cavs are something else man. Finished the season 71-11 and we only lost 3 of our 50 games after January. Some screenshots of how me and the team did



My best season personally and as a team. Had a few slumps, only had 23PPG across 15 games in January and shot sub-40% from deep in that month.
My best ,moths were March and April. In March I shot 63% from the field and 56% from deep and in April, 64% from the field and 46% from deep.
The team I played best against was the Rockets, scoring 85 points in 2 games and grabbing 36 rebounds total, as well as shooting an insane 80% from deep against them.
My worst team was the Utah Jazz, who o managed averages of 20PPG, 15RPG and 6APG.

I'm starting to believe in the comeback AI. Game 3 of the first round against Chicago with my center. I'm up 8 with under a minute left. They hit a three to cut the lead to 5 and go into foul mode. One thing I've noticed with my backcourt is even though they're both 80% free throw shooters, they NEVER make shots late in the game. Naturally, the SG misses both. They go up court and hit a crazy fadeaway over my 7'2 center, lead down to 3. Marcus Smart....two missed free throws. They score again, cut the lead to 1, our SG splits the pair making it two. They force overtime, the cycle repeats in OT, and we lose in double OT. I can't get the ball when they're fouling so I'm at the mercy of a backcourt who went a combined 3-12 from the line in the fourth and OT. Game 4 was the other way around, where we came back from 12 down in 3 minutes, but we lost that game as well.

Swept the Bulls in the first round of the playoffs, each game was a blowout, we won game 1 by something silly like 35 points.

I averaged 38 points, 16.8 rebounds, 11.3 assists, 2.5 steals and 1 block in the series. Shot 62% from the field, 53% from three point range and 91% at the line.

Next round is against the Wizards who we made light work of during the regular season but playoff basketball is totally different.

Hey guys...

So i dont think anyone found a way to change simmed quarter lenght in MC in nba2k15 yet....

Seriously, wtf 2k with forgetting such an important option. This makes stats stupid when i play 8min quarter myself....

Anyway, i saw that glitch recently on a forum that allows to force slider changes in MC and i wonder if it could be used in anyway to affect simmed quarter length. Check that page

I m gonna try and dig a little to see if this could be a solution and qanted to share in case anyone else wants to try finding a way using this.

Spent three years with the Hornets, won one title in year two and then lost to the Thunder in year three. Signed with the Pelicans in the offseason of year three to team up with AD, GM asks me to also pick two free agents. Needless to say .... This lineup is RIDICULOUS.

Reached 92 in overall and just after the all star game i cannot upgrade anymore despite the fact that not all bars are full. Is that a bug or can't i reach 99???

you probably still have upgrades to unlock. the game only gives you 80 upgrades and then you have to earn the other 20, which should take from the start of your career until the early parts of your second full season to get, if you play all of the games.

you won't reach 99 though, and you can't fill all the bars, that's pretty much the whole point of the new attribute system
