Blocking a bigmans dunk as a point guard as always fun. I wish my guy jumped this high every time.

That all depends on you. The earliest I've gotten my signature shoe was about 10 games into my second season on my SF; I was averaging ~31 ppg, ~19 rpg and 12 apg to start the season. The latest I've got it was mid-3rd season on my PG.

Has anyone actually 'mentored' someone yet? I doubt it ever happens, just throwing it out there to see if that 'mentor' badge will ever mean anything. I'm in the playoffs in my 5th year btw.

On another note, HOU is up 3-0 on OKC, so that means I'm finally going to face someone other than OKC in the Finals. The last 2 years I've faced and beat OKC in the finals, and I'm just tired of them.

                Not yet.

Heck, even 3 years in I still get the "rookie wants to watch video tape" cutscene.

I'm still waiting to build my own team. lol.

So we (Miami Heat) missed out on KD and Anthony Davis.

After my third year, I finally had the chance to ask for free agents.

We signed Wiggins and Embiid to form a formidable team.

Starting 5: Myself, Dragic, Wiggins, Bosh, & Embiid.

Bench: James Ennis, Deng, Whiteside, McRoberts, and Mitch McGary.

If we only had a backup point guard we would be golden.

Side Note: Wade is on Philly

Nothing will ever be as bad as Kobe signing with Milwaukee.

He signed with Minnesota in mine.

The inflated stats are really starting to get to me.

                      Harden averaged 33, 10, and 9 last season. Curry 33, 11, and 8.

A bit of a stretch. I try to play within the game and not average ridiculous stats. It's more fun to me, but it's frustrating to have a successful season (27, 7, and 7) and not make first-team All-NBA.

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread

I posted about this a few months back after I finished my second season. I began my career in Milwaukee, played there one season, then went to Indiana my second season. After my second season I got the whole "GM come to you and ask what FAs I wanted the front office to target" scenario. I said Anthony Davis and Bradley Beal -- my aim was to form basically an ideal starting lineup to pair with myself, Paul George, and Roy Hibbert. We were successful and had about as stacked of a starting lineup you can have: Me, Beal, George, Davis, and Hibbert.

We went 71-11 and won the NBA championship, only losing two games the entire playoffs (once to the Thunder in the Finals and once to the Cavs in the ECF).

Apparently we acquired someone's draft pick in a trade at some point last season or my first season in Indiana, and that draft pick turned into the 3rd pick of the 2017 NBA Draft. With that pick we drafted Melvin Farmer out of Washington. Farmer is a 6'9" 256 SF/SG with an overall rating of 84 as a rookie! He's going to be our 6th man this year and now we're even more loaded. I might call it quits on this MyCareer because this team has reached ridiculous levels of stacked-ness.

                        Starting Lineup
                        PG: Me (93 OVR)
                        SG: Beal (85 OVR)
                        SF: George (90 OVR)
                        PF: Davis (94 OVR)
                        C: Hibbert (80 OVR)

                        Bench
                        SF/SG: Farmer (84 OVR)
                        SF/PF: W. Johnson (72 OVR)
                        PF/SF: Nicholas Conner (71 OVR) *2015 1st round pick
                        PG: C.J. Watson (70 OVR)
                        SG: G. Neal (69 OVR)

All we don't have is a back-up center and the bench isn't the greatest after Farmer, but when you have three 90+ overall players and your top 6 players have an 80+ overall rating, do you really need a bench?

Also, as I do at the beginning of every new season, I'm going through and looking at everyone's rosters.

The Lakers have ended up with 6 point guards: Brandon Jennings, Patty Mills, Jordan Clarkson, Shane Larkin, and two 2K generated rookies in Laurence Claxton ('15 3rd overall pick) and Damien Curry ('16 8th overall pick).

The worse happened in my first Center file.
Howard and Kobe signing in Philly together. I actually considered deleting that file. Oh, the coach was Brian Shaw too.

I've had 3 different careers, I always see Howard signing with NO if AD leaves. AD went to BKN, Howard signed with NO. AD went to LA, Howard signed with NO. AD signed in Utah, Howard signed with NO.

Kobe has stayed with LA or gone to MIL or WAS. In MIL, he retired(as a Buck) at the end of his only season there, after the team went 17-65 iirc. In WAS he, Melo, Wall and Beal made the ECF 2 years in a row, losing to us(CHA) both times.

In the four careers I've gone more than one year with, Howard has gone to Miami twice, after Whitesides goes to the Knicks. Kobe has stayed in LA in all my careers so far; even the Laker PG one I started way back in October.

I know Leftos has worked on Free Agency signings but I hope he still works on them for next year.

Just as our contract offers seem random so do the free agent signings.
