I suck at the slam dunk contest. Wish we could practice for it.

I wish the voting logic made sense and I don't get 20 for a 360 windmill over a motorcycle cause my timing was off yet the computer gets I **** u not a perfect 50 for the most basic one handed dunk I have ever seen in this game

I wish there was an option to decline entering the dunk contest. This is the first year(2021) I'm not in it, probably because I don't score(I'm averaging 1.5ppg)

What I did the first time I've was selected was go to MyLeague and sim to the allstar break and try it with the players in the dunk contest.

How exactly do I make my guys shoot with the on court coach badge?

Press the shoot button. I personally use my mic which you don't need on court coach badge. You can say "shoot that" or "take that shot" doesn't always works but it helps. I mainly use "pick up ball" to help my teammates play D or if you get beat. I'm a center so I also call "double team" whrn they screen through the PF so that they hedge hard and I'm actually there to help the helper unlike the CPU normally does

Well GS has Green, OKC Ibaka, and NO the best PF In the game Davis.. All 3 valuable starters who should not be on the bench. So I say the Raptors

I signed with OKC and Ibaka is now playing Center. I made this a while ago, so David Lee was the PF starter for GS. I hope the AI would be smart enough to move Asik to the bench and played my guy or Davis at Center.

I'm assuming Kanter is gone then? At least he AND Adams won't be on the bench then. That must be a pretty athletic team. He's a little undersized as as C and can't rebound for crap, but he's more than capable defensively there... My Center is on OKC and I love that team. We kick *** :P I thought we were gonna lose Ibaka going into my 4th year, but we actually resigned him. Along with Westbrook AND Waiters. So our starting 5 is locked up. Except we have like -$20 million cap room haha. But we have no backup PG... & I honestly don't ever have to look to score on that team if I don't want..And thats on HOF sim

Edit: Just saw your edits. So no Kanter or Waiters then ? And Asik would have gone to the bench most likely but the Pelicans are ALWAYS injured. I see AD injured alot on mine

Favorite / Least Favorite teams to play for?

My favorite are:

(as a small forward)

Pistons (pgs and sgs can knock down 3s, great rebounding big men, sf is a glaring weakness)

Timberwolves (i love wiggins, but i love him coming off the bench more. they pass it to me more than i'd actually like, but i'm not complaining; i never have to call for the ball, good rebounders who can also knock down shots. nice bench depth, shabazz mohammed is their only useless player.)

PG:

Utah Jazz (I'm not a fan of the Jazz in real life, but on here it's the ideal position for a point guard. Their sg and sf are great shooters, their pf loves getting the oop and their center is an up and coming beast).

Least Favorite:

(as a small forward)

Denver Nuggets (Ty Lawson (timely) is a horrible point guard; multiple times a game he feels like throwing ill advised alley oops to faried which end up in turnovers, he's also prone to just straight up dribbling the ball off of his own foot, they have zero shooters, power forwards as centers and their only decent players are sfs, which doesn't help)

May have happened to some of you, I don't know, but I've just seen this in my 7th season, and I played every game.
Also, I passed the 10,000 assists mark recently and didn't know
Passed the 2,000 steals mark too

What difficulty & how many minutes is best to play for realistic results. I know 2k16 is coming soon but I'm finally going to entertain this years mycareer.

I've played a couple of games on all star, 12 minutes, & real FG shooting which has provided some good stats. I hate getting 40 point games consistently, 20 assist games & some of my star teammates get real low stats. It takes away the fun for ME, I know some others enjoy it.

I know it's just naturally easy to rack up the stats in this mode from my experience so some of what I'm looking for may come with me restricting myself.

I'ma play a few more games on all star, maybe try superstar although I know the higher the difficulty the worst my teammates play.
