Well the Rockets fell to the Thunder 4-0. Hit a last second meaningless three at the end of the game to make it a two point win but that could have been my last three as a Rocket.
Dante Exum, James Harden and Ed Davis all talked to me during the off season. My top three teams I chose were the Lakers, Rockets and Knicks. I got offers from them and quite a few other teams. I instantly thought I'd walk to the Lakers when I first started it but I'm actually a little torn. These are my main options I'm considering:
Lakers- My team in real life, an opening there for a PG with Nash more than likely retired and a chance to win Kobe one last ring then take the reigns.
Rockets- It was fun playing with them despite our breakdown in the Playoffs. Harden and I have a friendship that's been cool in the game and it'd be nice to play for one team my entire career and see how it changes to build a dynasty.
Pacers- An East team with a solid squad that could use a more prominent point guard. Would have a lot of weapons to work with even with Stephenson gone.
The Knicks are also a possibility to work within the triangle along with the Jazz for the fun Exum conversations and the 76ers, who are offering me the most (182-447 VC per game) for the contract. This is one I'm going to need to think about.
Edit: Man I miss the 2K14 agent and my old Myplayer. My created self comes across like an egomaniac a lot of the time and rather demanding, while my agent comes across as rather skeezy. It was nice having someone that you went through the ride with feeling the ups and downs, not someone you feel like would dump you in a second for someone better.
