Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
Well, after DeRozan was injured, my Toronto team went from 4th seed winning 7/10 to 7th seed loosing 9/10.
I do keep the scores close (except for the Thunder who embarrassed us with a 40 point win) so I can't complain. I'm averaging 16 points a game with 15 rebounds and 5 assists.
I'm modeling my SF like a young Rodman but the bucket system really makes it hard to do this.
Even though I've lost 7 straight, I am still having fun. There will always be things that happen, like ghosting through my body or rebounds which are not rebounds but overall this year's 2K is the best in my experience. I think this year even is better than 2K11 was, gameplay-wise.Comment

Anyone who has gone through free agency, I heard that there's no way to see the teams' rosters that you're choosing from. Any truth to this? I'm on the Kings and really the only way I'd return is if they managed to re-sign Rudy Gay. We were 6-5 with him in the lineup but since he tore his MCL we've dropped 10 straight.Comment

Someone had mentioned the 'Rec Center' in Park a couple days ago and I hadn't even thought about it.. finally figured out it's through the gates of Park.. actually like the gym look better since there's no glaring sun on one half of the place
Nevermind.. Park crashed on me again. worked great late last nightView Through My Lens sports photography

Also, don't start the offseason/end the current season until you have made your decision on which team to join. You get no time to think, it's just 5 or 6 consecutive cut scenes and then you pick, you can't save and back out then come back and decide later.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
Yup, smart advice.
We should really be able to check out the roster, unbeliveable that we cant, I mean do real NBA players pick their team blindfolded? And each team should also have some kind of an offseason plan that they show you to give you even more information, that would be a great feature. Something for next year I hope.
On another note, has anyone ever been to the Jordan rec center? I'm not seeing it anywhere...Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
This is exactly what annoys me the most. In 2k11 when a timeout is called during clutch time, you would see the best play on the court after it. I mean come on it's 2014, they try to make the game more realistic yet they leave the most basic, fundamental elements of basketball.
I wonder if anyone's coach actually calls a play for the last possession of a tight game. I just got done playing the Cavs and lost on a Kyrie Irving "uncontested" pull-up because Rose jumped to the right instead of directly in front. We call timeout and the team comes out onto the floor all bunched up on the right sideline aimlessly except for me. I have to mash the pass button to get the ball at the free throw line and by then all I can do is put up a contested mid range shot that clanks off the front of the rim. Did I mention I played the entire 2nd half?Comment

I've been through free agency, no way of seeing the rosters. You can't even see who won the finals from the previous season until you start the next season.
Also, don't start the offseason/end the current season until you have made your decision on which team to join. You get no time to think, it's just 5 or 6 consecutive cut scenes and then you pick, you can't save and back out then come back and decide later.
You can save and back out, in a way. You just have to close the application. I was unsure of where to go so I closed the game and when I decided, I started up the game and it was right there again. Just a heads up.Comment
