Whats the bug? Game freezes when you start NBA Today game between OKC and PHX on 2/26 when you use most recent roster update

What mode did you experience the glitch/bug in? NBA Today

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? I used the most recent roster update, and when I select OKC vs. PHX game on NBA Today 2/26, when you are going to start, after pressing the start button to start the game, the intro where they show the preview of the match up, basically when the game loads, the game freezes to the point where you have to turn off and turn on the console again, and did this multiple times, and thought it was my disc. Then I chose OKC and PHX manually without selecting that match up, and it still froze after you start the game. I then chose the other NBA Today match up on 2/26 using the most recent roster update, the Warriors vs. Cavs matchup, and the game started normally, and was able to start and play a game with that match up, it didn't freeze. I then restarted and just selected two random teams randomly, (Wolves vs. Lakers), and it also didn't freeze, and I was able to start and play that game. Then I uploaded another roster from my saved rosters, it wasn't the most recent roster update, and I started the OKC vs. PHX NBA Today match up, and it didn't freeze, and I was able to start and play the game using another roster. So there is likely something in the most recent roster update since 2/26 that makes the game freeze after you start the game, if you pick OKC and/or PHX as a team to use using those rosters, so there is probably something in the OKC and/or PHX rosters that makes the game freeze after you start the game.

How often has the bug been reproduced? twice so far. Using the most recent roster update from 2/26, select the OKC vs. PHX match up from NBA Today 2/26, or select OKC vs. PHX manually, or possibly even OKC or PHX as a team, and the game then freezes after pressing the select button to start the game, it freezes in the in the intro where they show the preview of the match up, basically when the game loads.

Whats the bug?: Not sure if this is actually a glitch/bug or not but the following players have a photo/portrait but are actually Create-A-Players and don't have a Cyberface like the other 2014 rookies:

Whats the bug? Aafter the first season all the free agents remaining there until the end are no longer in the free agent pool once the new season starts. Players like Chris Douglas-Roberts, Andrew Bynum, Marquis Teague and Sebastian Telfair have completely disappeared.

What mode did you experience the glitch/bug in? MyGM

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? Progressing past the first MyGM season.

How often has the bug been reproduced? Every time I create a new MyGM save.

Do you have video or a picture? No.

I am on Xbox One, I have noticed the same issue!...very disappointing!

Whats the bug? Everytime I start an online game, I have to change the defensive assist strength back to 0. I made the change in my offline settings. Everything else from the settings (e.g. Icon Lead Passing to Off, Box Out Assist Strength to 0) is the same online as in my offline settings. Only Defensive Assist Strength changes to 50 when playing online.

Whats the bug? the game won't load past the screen with the team logos or even the screen after that that just says NBA 2k15. I have fully installed the game.

What mode did you experience the glitch/bug in? None cause it cant bring me into the game

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? This problem recreates evry time i try to play the game

Yeah it is happening to me too.. and when you google the problem it is happening to a lot of folks on ps4 and xbox one

Whats the bug? When I try to create a player, the game crashes when I edit his face and I have to turn off the Xbox One.

What mode did you experience the glitch/bug in? CAP

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? I was just trying to recreate Glen Rice's face, actually ... and the game just froze.

How often has the bug been reproduced? Every time I try to create a player (even if I'm offline)

Whats the bug? Game crashed while saving after a game a few times.. Now crashes when 'saving' after clicking to load the My Player

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? At first I played an entire game, it got to the end of the game to save it and it froze while saving.. I loaded it fine and had to play the game again and it did the same thing.. The next time I loaded it up and simmed to end and it froze again. Now when I try to load the player from the main menu it freezes without getting into the mode.

I had extra VC piling up on me so I decided to make a new player. Dropped 158k VC into him. Grinded badges on him for 3 days straight and basically had every badge I could get or wanted and managed to avoid Volume Shooter.. Now all that time and especially my VC is down the drain and gone.. Really really pissed off right now..

I get that weird bug:
Today only, while playing mycareer usuall in 4th quarter of the game, it disconnects me saying that i have been signed out from PSN. Going back to PS4, it's disconnected from wifi and needs 4-5 minutes to re-connect!

No matter what game mode i'm playing, I keep getting this message saying

"Checking for VC transactions"
And it'll just sit there loading until I cancel it.
Then I can play, but it'll pop up after any move I make in GM mode.

Help!!!!!

Players and coaches don't retire after season 2 and farther. You only see guys retire after the first season. Also when you get far enough carrier stats mess up for players.


I just did a simulation last night to the year 2024 has I wanted to see how many carrier points James and KD would get up to. I noticed after the first season a few players retired. But then after season 2 up in till 2024 like no one retired. I never once got a list of players or coaches that retired after season 2 all the way up in till 2024. So it looks like players and coaches just don't retire because of this you end up with way to many guys over 40 in the free aget poll. Kobe played 6 more years has he retired at 42 and he spent his last 2 years on the spurs and his last year on the spurs he didn't get any playing time at all. When I got up to 2024 kobe was in the freeaget poll at the age of 46 with a rating of like 48 and wade was also in thee freeaget poll at like 43 years old. Looks like retiring logic is broken in MYLEAGUE and you are going to have like 100 guys over 40 in the freeaget poll. Also when you get far enough carrier stats get messed up. When I got up to the year 2024 both KD and james carrier points where only kept tracked of the last 6 years so KD had like 30000 points but the game said he had like 1200 or something.<!-- / message -->

If anyone from 2K reads this, can this issue PLEASE be cleared up in a patch before NBA 2K16. Annoying how solid 70 overall players "retire/disappear" in the offense after not being signed by anyone and their spot is taken by a 40 overall undrafted player. Especially considering 2K has said that there is enough room on the roster for the undrafted players and the players who go missing.

Whats the bug? after trade deadline, when a 10 day contract expires and they ask would you like to sign the player for the rest of the season, if you say yes. every game after that the game will have the same pop up asking the same thing and asking would you like to sign the same player for the rest of the season. even if you said yes prviously.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? happens before every game played in association mode after the trade deadline.

Whats the bug? When receiving coach directives, player completes directives and still gets downgraded by the coach OR AI makes it impossible to complete directive.

For example, you are directed to score when you have the opportunity. You score over a dozen of the next team points and still get downgraded by the coach.

If getting a "crash offensive boards" directive but your team doesn't miss any shots then you will be downgraded although there is an overall positive outcome. Or "milk clock" directive, your AI teammates run down and jack up shots immediately.

No real life person/coach would be this unreasonable in a game situation.

Needs to be revamped or taken out of the next game entirely.

Can someone please tell me exactly
what Defensive assist strength and Boxout Assist strength is??? I know its suppose to help guide you in some way but I never really understood what exactly turning it from 0 to 100 or 100 to 0 is suppose to do? Is it just a placebo effect or does it really matter. What are the games default settings for these?

Whats the bug? Doc Rivers' gone.

I was on my sec year, and of course Doc hop on the team i choosed. But after a few games he was gone. Didn't find any news about him get fired, don't even know if its possible, but he disappeared.
I looked on every team, and nothing... but after 15, 20 games he's on Timberwolves..
I was loosing with lakers, but on others careers it happened as well and it never happened.

So, I'm on PS4, and I had the CE-34878 error, which I've gotten before. I've figured out that I can usually fix it by completely reinstalling the game(sucks, but otherwise it just keeps crashing), except this time, all my data was lost, and I can't even connect to the servers. All the slots for my MyPlayer and the MyGMs are the files all say "no description is available." I can't connect, and I can't save anything. I'm not really sure what I can do...
