Don't really know if this belongs here but I would like to know some ideal Offensive sets for a couple of teams:

Goldenstate Warriors (currently playing them in Myleague)
Portland Trailblazers
Cleveland Cavs (Go with the pack cheese savefile)

The thing is I barely use plays and I'd like the players to free themselves up but whatever I pick (freelance/cuts) they make 1 move and just stare at me, I'd love the game to be smoother without having to call plays.

Any way to do that for one of these teams or just in general?

Anddd i lose yet another game in the park because my screen is glitching and the frame looks choppy and i have no idea whats going on during the games. It looks like the guy im guarding is in front of me but in reality he's already blown by me. It looks like i released my shot on time but in reality its late or early.

nobody have any idea how to fix this? like anything at all i can do? is this 2k or something on my end.

i reset my connection and everything so im out of ideas.

ive played DC, 2k14, and warframe just to make sure it wasnt my ps4 acting up and all 3 played fine.

I dont think that people are collecting losses for this, are they?

I have had it restart on me a few times.. Never really looked if it counted my losses or not... I am around .500 always anyways.

I have had it restart on me a few times.. Never really looked if it counted my losses or not... I am around .500 always anyways.

No i mean i lost the game legit but the laggy frame rate was the cause of the loss. I dont know why its lagging like that though its frustrating to play. Im not one to complain much but its just unplayable. It happens everygame it starts out fine then as the game is in motion the frame becomes choppy/laggy i guess ill just wait until the patch comes out and see if that fixes it. If it still does the same thing then i guess that just sucks for me because i cant return it i went digital download

Hey all, pretty new to the series, gotta say gameplay is top notch! From a gameplay perspective, at least, it's the closest I've ever felt to a true "sim" experience in a sports game (I don't play Fifa). I have a question about the "potential" stat, though.

"Potential" is such a vague, loaded word so I'm looking for clarification as to what exactly it does. If I draft a 68 OVR player that has a "potential" of 91, what is the likelihood that he becomes a 90+ OVR superstar? Conversely, what's the likelihood that he "busts" and tops out at say 72 OVR or so (not factoring for potential injuries)? Is there a lot of variance as to how good said player might top out at, and is there a way to adjust the randomness of a player's progression or will it usually be the same standard pattern?


Just trying to determine how much I should be valuing potential, thanks!

I don't think its possible to get a lot of movement from your players without running plays.

I think personality and work ethic are important to reach the potential of the player (quicker). Players who want to be G.O.A.T and/or have legendary work ethic might grow a lot faster. Players with a good work ethic also like to have (very) high intensity training, which also helps alot with growth. And higher potential players drop less in stats later in age.

1. Have they expanded the voice-control play calling beyond
"3 pointer", "pick and roll", "isolation", and "post up"?

2. In between quarters, is there a way to check and see what substitutions the ai has made prior to starting the quarter so I can match up accordingly without having to waste a timeout?

The ai sub display coming out of quarters is a great idea u should put that in the wishlist thread

So you're saying a player with high (90+) potential and a poor work ethic (let's say a Michael Beasley type) might not fulfill their potential and could bust in the 70s or so? Or does work ethic just affect the rate and not end result?
