Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread

What can I get for Pierce? I just can't score for him, it's atrocious. Wide open threes, post stepbacks...nothing.

I'd like to get someone like Fournier, if the trade makes sense...probably not since Pierce wants to win -- now.

So, a young(27 and younger) shooter is what I'd want. Any suggestions on trade or how to play with Pierce.

Just an FYI you are going to give up at least 1 first rounder because they only have like 2 firsts. I think they are 2016 and 2018. And they only have like 1 2nd rounder.

I don't think so. The Cavs are giving up a SS in Love and the best they get back is David Lee. Who is injury prone, and has a bad contract.

Cavs lose Love an all star caliber player, who is a 20 ppg PF that can shoot the 3, is a decent rebounder and is 26, for a 31 year old Lee, who is a 16 PPG pf, that can't shoot the 3 (worse fit with Irving and LeBron) has a bad contract, is getting worse and is also having a down year rebounding...Livingston a backup PG that will probably only play 12 MPG considering Shumpert and Jr Smith OWN the 2 spot for the Cavs and a young Center who isn't likely to see more then 10 MPG either...

How do the Cavs win in this trade?

Im using the kings. What would be a good trade for nik stauskas? He is in trade rumors right now and I cant really shoot with him. Im looking for an athletic four or a stretch four. I could also include either reggie evans or derrick williams in the trade. What do you guys suggest?

haven't thought about the money and how to make it work but i love nikola mirotic (bulls) in this game. he is a great stretch four for me, pick and pop cash money, can shoot the three well. he is also a good defensive rebounder. i use him alot in my lakers franchise. give him a look.

                          Some options for you pal:

Washington receive: Doug McDermott, E'Twaun Moore and Nazr Mohammed
Chicago receive: Paul Pierce and Garrett Temple

Washington receive: Joel Anthony, Kyle Singler
                          Detroit receive: Pierce

Washington receive: Terrance Ross and Greivis Vasquez
Toronto receive: Pierce and Kevin Seraphin
(or a straight swap for Landry Fields)

Washington receive: Matt Barnes and C.J Wilcox
                          LA Clippers receive: Pierce

                          Washington receive: Tyreke Evans
New Orleans receive: Pierce and Kris Humphries

Washington receive: Danny Green, Jeff Ayres
                          San Antonio receive: Pierce

Washington receive: Dorell Wright and C.J McCollum
                          Portland receive: Pierce
(or same trade but swap McCollum for Crabbe)

In these trades I have tried to send PP to a contender or home to LA, or in some cases both like Clippers where Doc also coaches. If not, one trade is to play with Anthony Davis who could contend...

Plus the reason for Detroit is to play alongside Drummond!

So I am looking for a better backup SG/SF and PF, and through the trade finder, I found the Nuggets offering me different combinations of Darrell Arthur, Alonzo Gee, and Randy Foye, three players I could actually work with, but what would I have to give up to get them. I originally offered a combination of Ryan Kelly and Robert Sacre, both of whom I can't play with.

I also thought about Wilson Chandler, but given his salary and the pieces I'm willing to move, I don't see a way for that to happen.

                            What about something like this...

Lakers Receive: Randy Foye, Darrell Arthur, Alonzo Gee

Nuggets Receive: Wayne Ellington, Ryan Kelly, Robert Sacre

Ellington for me just doesn't fit in right, and not having a backup SG/SF (depending on what position he's playing at the time) hurts me on the bench, so I figure I get a backup SG, SF, and PF all in the same deal.

                            Thoughts?

I can throw in the Pistons second round pick I got for 2017 if need be, or possibly even this years second round pick from the Clippers, considering it's going to be a late pick.

Seems fair to me. Maybe include the pick as you say to sweeten the deal, but it is fine without it imo.
