anyone playing with Legends? i am pondering starting my bulls modes with not only MJ but Scottie Rodman Toni and Grant lol and putting all other Legends into their teams, make the gameplay alot harder lol with better team....that will make it interting when it comes to trades lol....also make everyone 19 - 22 years old since 2k thinks 28 years of age means ur just about done! unless ur King James!

You mean to say "top-3 protected."

If it's not conferred by 2018, then the Lakers 2018 pick goes to the 76ers. They are guaranteed a first round pick from this deal. It may be a high lottery pick at that.

You grossly misunderstand the mechanics of that trade.

i did mean top 3 just put the wrong word, and i am well aware that they would receive the 2018 pick but my point is that the pick will not be worth mcw in my opinion, assuming that the lakers will be this bad in 2018 is unrealistic the best pick i would see the 76ers get out of this is at the bottom of the lottery either next year or the following year

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread

Hey all, I just came across a trade while playing in trade finder with my 76ers rebuild and I'm not 100% sure what to do. Realism really doesn't bother me, especially with this trade.

          Sixers Trade:

Stanley Johnson (78 OVR +3 included right now)
          2019 1st Rd Pick

          T'Wolves Trade:

Andrew Wiggins (86 OVR +2 included right now)

For more background I'm 5th in the East right now in Year 2, Johnson's rookie year. He's 2nd in the shortlist for ROY. I wanted to pounce on this deal, until I saw that Wiggins is in the last year of his rookie year deal. I'm trying to operate under the cap for the first few years, and I feel like if I make the move Wiggins would put me over for next year. Plus, I finally am working up the team chemistry to 81% from disaster at the start of the season. However, I feel like Wiggins would put this team over the top. All starters would be over 80 OVR and I'd have a young starting core to keep me going for at least a few years in Embiid, Noel, Wiggins, Waiters, and Knight.

          What's a guy to do?

Yeah, but you're acting like your opinion=fact.

You have to think about this as a probability distribution--there is a reasonable chance that this pick ends up in the top-6 at some point, and the absolute WORST case is a first rounder in 2018.

This is an assymetric play--acquiring a very very valuable pick for a PG that's due for a big contract soon but who still can't shoot, finish at the rim, and is turnover prone.

i wouldnt call it an opinion if i thought it was a fact, im simply stating that i believe a point guard with the potential of mcw is greater than what they will get from this pick

Come the end of the season, as long as he doesn't retire, and he rejects his player option (which he almost always does), would it be realistic for the Celtics to bring Paul Pierce back. He can still shoot, and given their lack of real veteran presence (except for Wallace), he could be a valuable piece next season as long as he doesn't demand too much. I'm not planning on signing any big name players because we already have Smart, Thomas, Bradley, Sullinger, Olynyk, and Zeller. Plus I plan on bringing Crowder back, so the starting positions and some of the bench are already set, never mind the draft. Thoughts?

I haven't yet started my franchise, but I just can't help but think about bringing the Truth back.

I think you could, especially if you think you can make a playoff run. Worst thing you could do is trade him to a contender if things don't pan out for you.

I'm not quite sure, but maybe something like Calderon to the Kings for Jason Thompson and Andre Miller? It gives the Knicks a quality big man for a couple years and the expiring contract of Miller.

As a Celtics fan nothing would make me happier. He belongs in green.

What about this trade, assuming Melo switched up and demanded a trade in the upcoming offseason:

                            MIA receives:

                            Carmelo Anthony
                            Tim Hardaway Jr.

                            NYK receives:

                            Goran Dragic
                            Luol Deng
                            Hassan Whiteside
                            Future First (2017)

Miami gets a star scorer with marketability to pair with Bosh, as well as a young wing with upside.

Knicks get a playmaking PG, a declining vet in Deng who can be a good bench player, a young big with high upside, and a future first round pick.

                            Thoughts?

I doubt the Heat would do this. If you're just looking for realism, then it could work but I think you should add Zoran to the deal, because I see him being a valuable bench piece with New York, and it looks like Zoran goes wherever Goran goes.
