Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Ok, so I'm 17-16 in my Celtics franchise, and could really use an upgrade at small forward if I want to even make the playoffs. Right now, Turner (8.3 PPG) and Crowder (4.9 PPG) have been splitting the duties, but they aren't making a huge impact on the game. Turner usually only seems to score on fastbreaks, but isn't consistent in his shooting, and his defense leaves something to be desired.
After identifying the players I'm interested in, I looked through the trade finder and found some trades for those players, but obviously I had to tweak them a bit for them to sound at least some what realistic.
1)
Rockets Receive: Evan Turner
Celtics Receive: Corey Brewer (8.9 PPG, 3.4 RPG)
2)
Wizards Receive: Evan Turner, Shavlik Randolph
Celtics Receive: Paul Pierce (14.8 PPG, 4.0 RPG)
3)
Warriors Receive: Evan Turner, James Young (5.5 PPG), 2015 1st Round Pick, 2015 2nd Round Pick
Celtics Receive: Harrison Barnes (12.3 PPG, 5.4 RPG), Justin Holiday
The first deal is pretty much getting me the same player but with better defense.
The second deal brings "The Truth" back to Boston for Turner and a prospect in Young. While I like Young, Pierce would give me the scoring I need as he is leading the second-to-last place Wizards with 14.8 PPG, granted they are without John Wall and Bradley Beal. Pierce does have a player option for next season, but he usually ends up declining it.
The third deal is a bit unrealistic but at the same time realistic. Boston gets a young stud in Barnes who is outplaying both Andre Igudola and Draymond Green, for Turner and Young. Getting Turner for Barnes would allow the first place Warriors to move either Igudola or Green to the starting small forward spot with Turner becoming the "seventh man" behind whichever one doesn't start. They could develop Young into a scorer off the bench. The first round pick would likely be the Nets pick. I could make the second rounder the 76ers 2nd rounder which is projected to be the first pick, it would be like getting two first rounders.
I could see the Warriors parting with Barnes because he's due for a big extension and with Thompson, Curry, Igudola, Lee, and Bogut all making big money, plus Green's potential resigning, they won't have the money to extend him.

Ok, now if I do this deal, I'll need to somehow add another backup shooting guard, so what would it cost to get Brewer? I was thinking maybe something like Randolph and a second rounder? I don't want to give up any significant parts, so if not, I can sign someone like Jordan Crawford or Nate Wolters.Boston Red Sox New England Patriots Boston Celtics Boston BruinsComment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Im in 2nd season of my Jazz team. After rough 1-5 start, we won 7 straight. Im really comfortable with playing Hayward - 22.4 ppg, 4.6rpg, 3.9apg, 1.1spg, but I have a chance to pickup Kawhi Leonard for him. Should I trade him? Leonard is much better defender, he will fit defensive oriented team pretty well - got M. Gasol and Rondo.

Who would be better, Jordan Crawford or Gary Neal, for the backup SG role? Both would be one year deals, but I think I'm far enough into the season that I could sign players to 10 day deals.Boston Red Sox New England Patriots Boston Celtics Boston BruinsComment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Depending on what the Mavs plan to do with Rondo ,i'd say Dallas can be a good destination to play with Dirk.Well, he goes on a rival but he won't travel too far.But they don't have young players so it could be for a 2015 pick ,(if the pick is in the low 20's add a 2016 pick too) and some salary filler.
He could also play for the Bulls as a cover for Rose's injured legs but it's a stretch to assume he accepts a backup role.In that case you can grab McDermott and maybe Taj Gibson or Gibson and a 1st rounder (if you have followed my recent posts i usually try to open up a playing spot for Mirotic by instict)
Other than that it's a tough market for him with all these point guards and teams who don't have a good pg are the rebuilding ones who don't seem to be interested in him (or him playing for a lottery team too).Comment
