I agree. I think the only logical move is trading Gordon for a bad contract and a young SF like Shabazz or Harkless.

Yeah unfortunately thats what I believe as well. Looks like I'm stuck with him for the year then have him expire. But I'm realistic so I don't think I can draw guys to New Orleans unless they are a younger guy who would want to maybe build with AD.

Switched it up and started out with the Knicks.

Roster needs some....scratch that I mean A LOT of work!

Was thinking of taking on Josh Smith seeing as how Detroit is desperate to move him to please Monroe and just help them by being an addition by subtraction type deal.

I was thinking Bargnani would be the piece I'd throw, at first I thought that was unrealistic because you guys know I am very sim/realistic oriented. Then I looked into it more and Bargnani has an 11.5 mil expiring contract, would help them out with Monroe and help them lock up him to pair with Drummond which has a ton of potential as a great front court.

Then I thought maybe they need more, like a Shumpert seeing as how I have a plethora of SGs I was very willing to toss him in there. But they have very good guard play in Jennings, Augustine, Bynum, Caldwell-Pope, and Meeks. So maybe a pick, but the thing that has me hesitant with a 1st rounder is every one and there momma knows that Van Gundy wants to deal Smith, wasn't his signing and doesn't fit the Pistons. So Smith has very little value which is why a Bargnani for Smith swap straight up may be a good trade both ways.

Thoughts?

Playing as the Lakers and I'm really not a fan of Jeremy Lin. Obviously I'd need another PG or a combo guard, would prefer a slasher somebody like a Tong Wroten anybody got any ideas?

Lakers didn't have a lotto pick that year and they didn't draft Kobe, Charlotte Hornets did and LA traded for him.

The Lakers pick this year is with the Suns, but it's top 6 protected. So if the preseason is an indication, then they may have one.

But also I believe Bynum was a lottery pick

What team would be interested in Gerald Henderson ($6M this year + $6M next)? He averaged 14 pts/gm last year and is a 77 OVR in his late 20's I believe.

I think his contract is pretty fair based on his production

I'm more interested in a draft pick than a player as I like the current makeup of the Hornets roster. I'd settle for a 2nd round pick from any team.

Somebody previously mentioned the Hawks and I looked around the NBA and thought the Jazz might be a good fit. They have two 2nd's this upcoming draft.

Also would a 2nd round pick be enough for Gerald or would a team possibly give me two 2nd's (this year + future 2nd)?

I don't necessarily think Utah since they already have Hayward and will likely be in a rebuilding year, therefore want to get Hood some minutes.

Without taking money into consideration I think the places where Henderson could go to and get some nice playing time (and possibly make a push for the starting job) would be Atlanta, Indiana, Philly (if you're not using real injuries because if you are then they're in full tank mode) and possibly OKC if you're playing with real injuries and they need some one as a stopgap while Durant is injured. New Orleans would also be a good place, but only if Gordon was gone and Evans was moved to SG.
*Insert obligatory I wish there were three team trades in the game rant here

If it were me, what I would do is wait until the middle of the season. Then if a team either has an injury or needs a decent backup SF/SG, then I would try to ship him there for a pick and an expiring contract (if needed).

I took a risk in MyGM with the Nuggets and traded for Rondo.

Nuggets receive: Rondo, Jeff Green, & Joel Anthony (expiring)

Celtics receive: Ty Lawson, Danilo Galinari, Gary Harris, and a 2nd round pick

I took a risk in MyGM with the Nuggets and traded for Rondo.

You'd probably have to throw a few more picks the Celtics way or take on Gerald Wallace for someone like JaVale McGee to make that more reasonable.

Rondo for Monroe and Jennings, I know Jennings is a PG but he has one a year after this AND, you need it to make the salaries work because I believe If it was Rondo for Monroe straight up the Pistons would be over the cap.

Edit: and it would be realistic to shop Jennings during the draft.

I am the Raptors. I gave the Pistons Amir Johnson and Lucas Nogueria. I received Greg Monroe.

I had some injuries and needed extra PG depth. Monroe had told the Pistons he wasn't interested in resigning. I am in contention for the east and the Pistons are having an awful year.

For my team I neer 3 things out of a power forward. I searched using the player finder and the only 3 pf that met the criteria I want are Blake Griffin, Anthony Davis and Monroe.

I improved and the Pistons got a potential solid back up to Drummond and a cheaper PF.

GSW picks up phone laughs for a bit then hangs up in disgust that any team actually would offer them that.

They didn't want to trade Thompson for Kevin Love a 26 and 12 guy but they'll give up Thompson, Barnes and Lee for Mayo, Snell, Illyasova, and Gibson...LOL


Those 3 guys are such a big part of their team. Lee was an all star 2 years ago, Klay will be one this year and teams value Barnes very highly as he has great potential and was great in the playoffs as a rookie. No chance in hell, also I know your the Bulls but just turn on trade override if you want to pull off that deal.

Klay Thompson is overrated, in my opinion, Being able to play off steph curry and IGGY makes him what he is. Would you still say Harrison Barnes is a top player 10 from the 2010 draft class? David Lee? LOL, two years ago. I understand your arguement, they do not reject this trade because of their talent but because they all fit perfectly together in their system. Klay, Barnes and Lee would be any teams 3 best player.

First off thats just false. Thompson is a very good young two way SG. Barnes is a top 10 guy from that draft talent wise, yes. And Lee is a very solid 4 man. Thompson is capable of being the second best player on a playoff team seeing as how he was the second best last year.

Also if all these guys are awful why do you want them? Thompson is untraceable unless its for an unrealistic deal like KD or LeBron. They wouldn't deal him for K Love so they aren't going to deal him for 4 role players, while also dealing Lee and Barnes. Its a very bad trade offer and seeing from the likes on the post I'm not the only one who feels this way.

And they absolutely decline that deal because of talent. Thompson is BY FAR the best player in the trade, and Lee right now is the second best player in the trade, and the only All Star in the trade. Barnes other than Butler has more upside than anyone in the trade other then Thompson. So they are trading the two most talented players, and 2 of the 3 highest upside guys, for role players? Like I said GSW would laugh at this offer.
