NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
I like this one a lot more. To be honest I'm not sure you'd need to give that #1 pick, the trade is even without it. Good idea moving him to the Raptors I didn't even think of them. Him, Lowry, DeRozan and Valanciunas is a nice core.

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
So you watched Bill & Jalen's NBA preview! Look, I don't think Rondo fits the knicks, He's not a triangle PG, you have to be able to shoot as the PG running the triangle and Rondo isn't a good enough shooter. That being said. The trade is very realistic, but if I was the knicks, i'd never do it for basketball reasons.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
I think Jennings, JR Smith and Melo being on the court at the same time is a nightmare of bad shot selection lol.
I must have missed your original question. Are you the Knicks and you're looking for a PG?

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
For NY A lineup of...
Calderon
Gordon/Hardaway
Melo/J.R.
Anderson/ Bargnani
Dalembert/Jason Smith
...seems decent enough to make a run at the playoffs. There probably won't be much defense played though.
If you don't want to package them then maybe it will be a little easier. Trading Gordon has been discussed a few times in this thread, so maybe try searching his name for some ideas. Personally, I think that maybe Philly (if your not using real injuries), Atlanta or Detroit could be possibilities for him.
For Anderson I know that playoff caliber teams like Houston, Dallas and the Clippers would love to have him. Whether or not they have the assets to acquire him is another story. Something I just thought of while typing this is how about something like Ryan Anderson to Golden State for Harrison Barnes + filler. You'll have to add in another player from GS to get the salaries to match. Probably either Speights or Ezeli.
Personally, as a Pelicans fan I would rather keep Anderson though. He's exactly what they need in a Sixth-Man.
Exactly. Just because the game proposes a trade to you doesn't mean that you're not getting over on the CPU.My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Assuming realism is out the window since the Lakers would never move Kobe, they would have to get Early, Tim Jr., Amare and atleast one 1st rounder.
Bargnani has little to no trade value. Are you looking to just dump him or are you specifically interested in McGee and/or Hickson?

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
As for the second trade, if that's a first-round pick via the Knicks, I'd jump on that if I were Denver. Not sure why you'd want to do that as the Knicks though, those are two massively overpaid players.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
At what position? I'm going to guess PG, PF or C since you have plenty of 2 and 3 man depth already (even though they aren't defensive players).
At PG a cheap option could be Norris Cole from the Heat. He's expendable with Mario extended and Shabazz in town. Maybe Cole for two 2nd rounders.
An interesting option could be Shumpert, Larkin and a filler to make contracts match for McGee and Nate Rob put in Denver.

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
What's Julius Randles value? Is it still equivalent to the 7th pick he was taken? What are the Lakers trying to do? I'd assume it's a win now because they don't have their pick this year.Gig'em Aggies!Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
I don't think the Lakers even know what they want to do. With Kobe there is always some sort of win now urgency, but at the same time they don't have a roster even close to being able to compete with the top teams in the West.
I'd say Randle is still close to same value as when picked, but that's not enough to make a blockbuster move and be able to compete. I'd recommend just building for the future around Randle while you wait for Kobe to retire and free up all that cap space.
