Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Anyone rocking with the Grizzlies? Really struggling with their depth, especially the guard situation and big men rotation. Playing with injuries and Calathes still out for 4 weeks I signed Nando de Colo of the streets, but he is just as useless as Udrih for my secondary lineup.
Z-Bo and Gasol of course are great and untouchable, but Stokes and Prince as back-ups for PF are really gamekillers. Everytime one of them is in the game I get killed on D and can´t get any look inside myself. Koufos has some nice games sometimes, but he doesn´t have a useful postgame beside a hookshot here and then.
So I am looking for good 2nd options now, maybe a new starting 2 guard. Would give up Stokes, Allen and draft picks. What do you guys think? What would be realistic? Thought about guys like Bradley and T-Rob, any other ideas?Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
I'm playing as the Nets and I have some questions:
1. What is a fair asking price for Andrei Kirilenko?
2. Would it be realistic to trade Brook Lopez? If so, how much could I get for him?Ravens: In Ozzie We Trust

Bucks fan here and no way we would deal u Greek freak for mkg. He is nearly untouchable it would take a lot to pry him away.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Giannis is pretty close to untouchable IRL, and the talent/potential doesn't add up either.
I doubt you can get much more than a rotation player for MKG. Maybe a late twenties first round pick, but that would probably be the best return you could find. And even then it would have to be the right situation (a contender needing a perimeter defender badly).Comment

The Griz are one of the teams I may be going with for my franchise once opening day rosters are out. I'm surprised you don't like Stokes, I've used him a lot in Play Now games and he kills it for me. I actually find myself playing him over Zach a lot.
Anywho, I still think a great cheap PG option is Norris Cole from the Heat. As a Heat fan I hope they don't get rid of him in reality, but with Chalmers extended and Shabazz there he is expendable. I'd say two 2nd rounders get that trade done.
The spot I think the Griz need the most help is SF (atleast in game). I think a really interesting idea for them could be going after Josh Smith from Detroit. His asking price shouldn't be too crazy and he could give them a much needed boost in athleticism. Plus you can start him at SF and then shift him to PF when you take Zach out.
Off the top of my head for Smith I'd say Stokes, Pondexter, a 1st and a 2nd (plus a filler to make salaries match if needed).

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Hi
I want to start MyLeague with the Mavs to try to get Dirk another ring.
Only problem is i dont like there PG i want to have a pg who is a good ballhandler and with solid defense. But none of there 4 PG are good for that.
So what would be a good fit, i know the PG´s are not worth that much but i would add a 1st and some other player.
Only Dirk, Chandler, Parsons and maybe Ellis are off limits.
So any advice ?Comment

I'm looking for a decent 3 point shooter with some athleticism and D. Doesn't need to be a great scorer, below 80 overall for sure. I was looking at PJ Tucker, Terrence Ross, Shump, Hairston, and Garry Harris. I'm the Pacers, I like CJ Miles game, but I view him as a bench leader due to his lack of defense/athleticism. I'm willing to move anyone but PG/Hibbert. It's looking like I'll be 10th-11th in the East. I know getting Bradley Beal would be VERY unrealistic, but I'm interested in that as well.
Suns: 10th in the West, 17-24
Raptors: 3rd in the East, 22-16
Knicks: 7th in the East, 22-19
Hornets: 9th in the East, 20-20
Nuggets: 9th in the West, 19-19
Wizards: 12th in the East, 14-25 (ouch)Last edited by USNAggie44; 10-25-2014, 05:22 PM.Gig'em Aggies!Comment

I'm going to disagree with you and say that Jameer is a good PG with solid (not great) defense. In fact, as does Devin Harris, but Raymond doesn't. It's hard to make a trade with 2 decent PGs for a good one, because most teams wouldn't want to do that. Maybe Jeff Teague or Norris Cole? The Mavs don't have many (or any) young assets, so they'd need to trade with a playoff caliber team that needs an upgrade somewhere. If three team trades were still a feature, you could trade with one team with the player you want(even if on a bad team), and add another team that needs an upgrade to give that team a young asset.Gig'em Aggies!Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Any advice on the Pelicans situation? I'm sitting at 15-12 and looking to make a trade to open up the roster. I'm going to just eat Gordon's contract and not resign him. Any options on Tyreke? I'm also looking to trade Jeff Withey for a 2nd rounder but don't know which team would need a shot blocker.Comment

I think you've got a pretty decent option in Devin Harris. If he definitely just won't cut it you could look at Cole in Miami, Wroten in Philly could be interesting (not sure how good his D is, but he's big and quick so it should be solid I'd think)
