I think this might be a case of a fan overvauling a fan favorite on their roster; " happens to all of us me included" lol. Giannis is a good player but no one knows how well he will turn out as he is a project player. Dragic is a older player but also is one on the cusp of being a all-star and would cushion a rebuild by providing solid PG play for quite a while. Prehaps I should throw in a LAL 2015 pick which will be in the lottery as well to balance things out.

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
How does this sound.
BOS Receive: JaVale McGee, Quincy Miller, Darrell Arthur
DEN Receive: Marcus Thornton, Victor Faverani, Joel Anthony
Give the Nuggets some cap relief, gives me the Big C I need.
Otherwise I was looking at trying to pry Plumlee away from the Nets or The Big French C from the Pacers, was looking at giving them Thornton for him and a filler.
I am still thinking about moving Rondo but more at the deadline, or trying to resign him and start him, and Smart with Bradley coming off the bench.

I don't see why Detroit would trade their starting SF for a third string PG.

What about if I take Foye or some one back then. In my League they have tweeted that there big contract players should be on the move cause the new owner is looking to shed some payrollComment

That is a plus... If it was Javale and maybe two of their guards, I could maybe see it. But I don't think thorton is the trade for this scenario. If you want to get rid of thonton, I would say someone like Orlando, they have a surplus of bigs, And thorton can get some run but it won't really matter.Beavers|Red Sox|Buccaneers|NBA HoopsComment

Ok sweet so what would you say would get me McGee? He is getting 12.3 MPG at the moment and I need a big that can rebound and block in the worse wayComment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Unrealistic IMO didn't they just trade Lou? Why would they trade back? Also those are 3 mediocre players the hawks will receive. While the Raptors will receive a young point guard, a top 5 3 point shooter, and a star in the league with that trade. Unfair and Unrealistic.
Getting Lou back is unrealistic. And I just don't know that Atlanta wants to deal those big men. They didn't mention anything about that. They weren't shopping them this off season. So I don't see how you know that they want to move them. As far as I can tell, after last season, they think Teague is on the verge of stardom and want to give him this season to show it alongside Horford and Millsap. Which is why I say that if they're out of the playoff picture at the deadline it's far more realistic. Jenkins is 23, he still has time to develop. That's all I meant.
Edit: Also don't take anything I say as in I'm insulting anyone on here. Obviously its impossible to show tone on a message board, but this is all just a friendly agree to disagree thing with me. I know some people have guys disagree with them and they get mad and lash out, but not me just to clarify, cause I could read what I wrote and think it sounded like an A-Hole but it's not how it would sound in person.Last edited by Cf3411; 10-31-2014, 04:03 AM.Comment

I understanding Dragic is near all-star good but he doesn't fit the direction of this team in the future. Totally agree Giannis could be what he is, but were willing to find out. The things he can do at near 7 ft tall is amazing. When drafted he was viewed to be far away from ready having played against high school level talent. Due to injury and poor team success he played quite a bit last year, showed flashes of an all around game. He looks more confident this year from what he showed in pre-season/game 1. A franchise like MKE has to roll the dice, FWIW many scouts league wide view Giannis as one of the special players in a very poor class last year.
As a small market it's a chance the Bucks must take. I like Dragic a lot, and he'd be great here, just not at the expense of such a promising young asset, on a team that is required to draft/develop.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
The Horford rumours were just that. Rumours. They clearly became nothing and he hasn't been shopped in this offseason. Their GM has been putting pieces around him and Teague to try and win with this core. Millsap is a key piece for them and I just don't see him being traded till at least the trade deadline. And like someone else stated. All the talent your giving back is mediocre with little to no upside. They are who we think they are.
I'm not trying to be an ******* either. I just disagree with you. In the end it's your GM mode, you can and will do what you want. I just personally believe the Hawks, based on off season moves (or lack there of) want to see what they have and if it can compete, before making any moves. Come trade deadline if it looks like they'll be fighting for an 8 seed they might just chalk it up as pointless to try and, start dumping guys like Millsap and Horford to playoff teams in order to gather some assets for the future. But I really do think the Hawks organisation believes they can be a 6-8 seed with a chance of making it to the second round. I also believe that in such a weak conference, this is possible. Is it the best move? Not really considering we all know it's going to be Bulls or Cavs in the finals. But that's not the point.Comment

I think you could probably give up Darius Miller and Alexis Ajinca or Jeff Withey along with a pair of 2nds. I don't think the Lakers would take it IRL, but Darius Miller is overrated in game so this actually favors the Lakers a bit.Comment
