I love that first trade. I can definitely see that happening in real life. As it goes for the Crawford one... I wouldn't, but if you have faith in Ray Allen, then by all means, fire away. All I can say is try to get a higher quality SF than CDR

Bleh. If not then at least start Martell Webster adding another shooter to that starting 5 can be deadly, and Martell led the league in 3pt% a few years back iirc.

Update: Just saw that you'll be cutting Martell Webster? Bad move, that makes your trade tough.

If you're cutting someone, cut Jared Cunningham or Ryan Kelly. Keep Martell, as he is a valued shooter with solid defensive skills, much better option than CDR at the 3.

I got Martell Webster confused with Wayne Ellington. I traded and cut WAYNE ELLINGTON. I knew Martell Webster sounded weird as I typed it, and it clicked with me when you said I should take a 2nd look. I was thinking he was pretty much just a throw in bad contract to make the money work.

Oh wow! Okay that definitely changes things. For whatever reason I had assumed that Webster was traded to the Lakers before tour Crawford deal.

Ellington is most definitely a throw in, and although you like Ryan Kelly, I think you could get him much MUCH cheaper than Jamal Crawford. As the clippers are currently in a fix about needing a SF, you did unfortunately make that need much more noticeable by starting CDR.

If you cannot find a way to improve the SF position this year, you might wanna think about dabbling Steve Novak in the starting 3 position. He doesn't have to play 30 minutes per game, though.

I would use him in a Sefolosha style OKC lineup. He is so awful at pretty much everything but shooting the rock, I would start him and set his minutes at like 15 or so. That way your better slasher and defenders to play 20 minutes at that spot. (CDR, Cunningham, ect)

Hawks get: pekovic, 15 1st, 17 1st

I'd like to start horford at the 4 and give time to dieng and have young, bennett backup the 4 and I guess muscala for now backup the 5. Am I giving enough to make up for the 2 extra years on peks contract?

Pekovic isn't a bad player. I think he's a solid fit in Atlanta for Horford who is a natural 4.

2 1sts sounds like a lot, because if you're Minnesota, you wanna keep assets to build for the future and I don't know how long Horford is gonna play. He'll be regressed by the time you get to the playoffs.

I'm a bit indifferent on this one. Pek absolutely should be traded but he's more valuable than just an expiring. He's a pretty nice starting big man in the league today.

Try finding a trade with an "almost there" team for future picks.

Try Phoenix, Miami, Detroit, Portland or New York.

Alford is injury prone in my league.

Could trade pelvic for young talent/picks and sign Monroe in off season.

Very true about starting Novak. I feel like I sacrificed some defense at the 3 in exchange for some size and scoring, but I'm fine with that. I think I've cleared up the main issue with this season roster. I'm planning on improving the position more all around this off season, but I just had to get some more scoring on the team. I loved Barnes on the Clippers in real life, but ever since he lost his knockdown 3 he's just one of those stand around and commit fouls players and is creating a huge hole at the SF.

As far as the Crawford trade, I probably could have gotten Kelly for cheaper, but I was really just trying to offload Crawford somewhere. I just figured Jamal as done a great job for the franchise the past few years and a realistic scenerio would be to trade him to the Lakers so he stays in LA, doesn't have to move his family mid season, and as a UFA is free to sign with a contender in the offseason.

As a Hornets user in need of a good strech 4 what should i give to Wolves for Bennet or Young. I'd like to get Young if that's possible of course without giving core players such as Kemba Lance or Al but if i can't, i'd settle for Bennet, i'd give him a chance.

Been a while since I played MyLeague, so I decided to delete my old one (was only 16 games in) and start a new one with my favorite team, the Heat. I also wanted to do a fantasy draft and get my two favorite players ever, LeBron and Curry, on the same team.

Here's how the draft went for me.

I obviously have to trade for Curry now, and I realize that any trade for Curry is unfair to the team trading him, but I really would like him on my team so I was hoping someone could let me know if the team trading him is getting value that is at least somewhat acceptable for him.

I couldn't decide what to do after the help from you guys so I didn't trade pek at all. I simmed ahead 3 weeks and tried again, this time using trade finder to start a deal. This time I got

Hawks get: pek
Wolves get: Millsap

This was offered by them straight up and since it's myleague I could edit horford to the 4 spot right?

Or

Nuggets get: pek
Wolves get: McGee 15 2nd and 17 2nd
The nuggets so far are competing in the west at the 5 seed and McGee is only averaging just under 9 mins a game. Are these any better or am I not close and should just hold on to pek? I really don't like using him though

Millsap would actually be a decent deal, but I would add a 2nd rounder at least. Plus, the only way I really see this happening is if you extend Millsap because he's an expiring contract.

Knicks Get - Kenneth Faried, Danilo Gallinari, Nate Robinson, Den 1st (2015)

Nuggets Get - Iman Shumpert, Andrea Bargnani, Samuel Dalembert, NY 1st (2018)


With this deal the Knicks get 3 good players that would fit with Melo right now to learn the triangle TOGETHER while getting another pick in this loaded draft.......

I actually like the deal, it's fair, but as the Knicks I would only be willing to move shumpert during the acquisition of a star...maybe a Rondo deal or something...he's the only bright spot in that organization.

I tend to think that about Hardaway. I feel like Rondo will be a free agent to pick him up... Faried in the right system and team can be a star..... But thanks for the feed back I'm gonna start looking to see when i should pull off the deal....
