Most times I have only got around 2200-2500 references points a few time I have gotten around 5000 and the most I got was last night 6581 but even then it didn't really look like me. For people who have had good luck getting it to work and to look like them how many references points are you getting?

Pretty accurate for my first try. 2 windows open, 2 lamps on - one in front, one in back. Just over 4000 Reference Points.Attached FilesPlease excuse any typos. I'm not used to the new straightjacket.

Re: 2K15 Post Your Facescan Thread
Ill try this. I think everyone should read thisBasically yes. In the beginning of the scan he will say it. You will obviously listen to that one. Start by going left once he says it. If you pay attention to the percentage you will see it rise as you rotate slowly. They say 30 degrees, I did it about 45 or so. Didn't make much of a difference. then slowly rotate back to the center. From this point on you can ignore what he says. Once you rotate back to the center you will see the percentage at around 50 or so. If you want before rotating right you can slowly rotate left again. If you don't see the percentage rising then you know it has fully scanned that side of your face. Then you can start with the right side of your face. Again repeat what you did with the left side. Once it finishes with the right side you should be done. There shouldn't be anymore prompts to turn your face. Again it should be a quick scan. Anything longer then that or if it loses track of your face your reference points will take a hit.Comment

Re: 2K15 Post Your Facescan Thread
I don't know if I mentioned this before but my experiences are with the PS4 version of the game. I have no experience with the Kinect at all. From what i've read it's nearly impossible to get a great scan at this point with the kinect. If you play on the XBone and can't get a good scan you might want to use a generated face and wait for 2K to address the issue. I know how annoying continuously doing face scans can be.Comment

Re: 2K15 Post Your Facescan Thread
I did it at like 9pm so I had no sunlight I just used my regular light from the ceiling and I put my iPhone directly behind the kinect camera and I was about 10 inches away from the camera.
i kept my head straight until the percentage stopped moving then I started turning my head to the left about 30% slowly until the percentage stopped again. then slowly to the right about 30%Comment

Re: 2K15 Post Your Facescan Thread
Been trying for an hour now to even get it to recognise my face on Xbox One. Got a white sheet behind me, overhead light on, 2 windows either side of me and three LED lights. One just behind the Kinect, one to my left and one to my right.
Makes no sense to why it won't even detect my face now! Sitting ~ 12 inches from the camera with my face in the box. Tried holding a white piece of card under my chin and it makes no difference.
Any ideas?Comment
