A few Jordan's I didn't post from before - Thunder XVI, Candy Caine XVI , Melo PE XII, Charlotte XI. Of course I have tons of other J's, but its mostly the stuff everyone is gonna already have (Laneys, Grapes, Space Jams, Taxi's, etc.), so I don't think I need to post shots of those unless people wanna see them.Comment

A few more LeBron's: South Beach XI, Team USA XI, Akron vs. Miami XI, and the Team USA Zoom Soldier VIII's. Bit of a shame not to have the teal upper on the Beach's, or the red laces on the USA's, but unfortunately it just can't be done with the weird way they've fused the tongue area with the upper body of the shoe for the XI's. Oh, and if the eyelets for the Zoom USA's look too bright blue, that's been fixed on my end. Not that you could ever tell in-game... it just bothered me knowing it was there.Last edited by DeathorGlory47; 10-14-2014, 12:15 PM.Comment

Re: OS NBA 2K15 Shoe Vault - Discussion
A mix of things that didn't line up in any sort of group. We got a DH5 in a throwback colorway that I'm real pleased with. A version of the Kobe 9 Elite I've seen floating around. A little love for some Peak shoes with two custom colorways for the Kyle Lowry III: Raptors & OVO versions. And a Raptors colorway for the Melo M10.Comment

Re: OS NBA 2K15 Shoe Vault - Discussion
Tony Parker is a great player, and even though his signature shoe is from Peak, it deserves a little love. The default in-game color for this shoe is boring, and TP is not boring. It's a shame, because the shoe actually has some pretty nice detailing to it, so I brought that out front a bit to give it some personality. Same deal with The CP25. Chandler Parson's getting a signature model feels a little weird, but it's ANTA, and you gotta recognize the hustle. But the shoe was built for a bright all-red colorway in Houston, and it doesn't work as well after the change of scenery. So I brought an update to the Dallas colors that makes the shoe look more like a pro model and gets it to pop a bit more in game. (He's also been wearing a reflective silver model in pre-season, so there may be more coming). And finally we have the Rondo 1's. I'm a huge Rondo fan. Love his game, and I'm glad he got a shoe... but it's ugly AF. It looks a little better IRL, but not by much. This is simply a correction. The colorway the shoe defaults to in game is all wrong. This fixes that.Comment

They all look great but nobody is including the numbers so we can recreate them. I thought that was the point of the thread. Lol not to just showcase how great you are at replicating different colorwaysComment

Just look at the shoe and make it the same colorComment

Of course, the material matters. It can change the color dramatically. I wasn't sure if anyone was really that interested, but I can try to include a material list in order for each shoe if that would be helpful to people.
When the custom, from-scratch shoes start coming I'm sure there will be formulas all over the place.Comment

Jason, I get you. But it's kinda true with the colorways. At the end of the day, the pieces are in place you just need to match the colors. Plus they're not using any kind of X,Y number grid this year for me to just tell you the values to plug in, so that makes it a bit more complicated to try to explain the colors. I can't really tell you "One and a half bars on top, and three bars on the bottom", because you still need to know which color section to start in. So by the end of reading my explanation... you probably could just eyeball what color it was.

Re: OS NBA 2K15 Shoe Vault - Discussion
Also, I would like to say that I'm looking forward to the truly original customs and re-creations of shoes that simply don't exist in the game.
I know some people don't like the colorway edits, but for me... Anyone who takes one look at the way the game defaults the colors for shoes can see that it looks awful 95% of the time, and it really ruins the immersion for me. Having colorways for shoes that really look like something players would wear makes the game a lot more satisfying to me. Putting some nice kicks with some personality on a player makes me enjoy playing with them so much more. So I hope that I can help people with that.
I'm planning to try my hand at some custom originals at some point, but to all you guys who are grinding to bring us stuff we haven't seen or that got left out of the game...
You da real MVP's.Comment
