Im loving nba 2k15, and after reading this impression thread i understand
why 23 said you should stay away after you get the game.

Well...yeah.

You could come on OS and read about people's personal issues and misery, essays about the state of 2k, read about every bug and glitch daily...but some rather just play the game....enjoying the aspects they enjoy, and give feedback on what they don't like...nothing wrong with that...

I've seen some guys experiences be ruin Ed just by buying into negativity around here....

Really enjoying this game so far. My only major gripe would be the CPU getting the ball after a missed shot because my players fumble the ball. Seems to happen a fair bit and only only to my players.

I've seen some guys experiences be ruin Ed just by buying into negativity around here....

If a person is enjoying the game, and they let the opinions of some strangers on a message board ruin the game for them, then that's on that person.


There's a ton of positive posts in this thread. I don't see why people have issue when people bring up negative aspects of the game. This is an impressions thread afterall...good or bad.

This game to me is the best 2K ever. I coudn't go back. There are just a few issues that needs to be adressed.

Not gonna be a suck up for 2K.
Game is a frustrating piece of work.

Can't play a full game at the park because it keeps glitching with the invisible players crap and then I get the error message.

Gameplay is ok but I enjoyed 2k14 better. As well as their graphics. Something about this game seems too corny for my taste

How can I enjoy a game with servers like this?
how can u enjoy not being able to play what I paid for

stringing together dribble moves using size up is really fun. i think everyone should try it.

im disappointed once again, 2 years in a row, gameplay is improved but it still has the same problems that frustrated me in nba 2k14

that is input lag in offline mode

on offense:

useless animation that makes receiving pass take longer (most frustrating is when inbounding the ball, my player cant catch and go without the delay?)
team mates getting in the way when calling plays
teammates moving AWAY from open spots before catching the ball

on defense:
cpu team mates lose their defenders so easily just by making the most obvious backdoor cut
cpu team mates cant check their man in transition during fast break
players in general have momentum like they are overweight players who dont deserve to be in the nba
I LOSE CONTROL OF MY PLAYERS when the CPU inbounds the ball, and everyone goes away from their assignment until the CPU crosses the halfcourt line leaving out of position because momentum in this game sucks

I love how you really feel the difference between good defensive teams and bad defensive teams this year. Defending with the Lakers is a challenge... And it should be. I'am getting a little better though.

If they could fix that offensive rebounding / instant put back issue the game would be great against the CPU. Great.

I had to lower back door cuts down to 10. Where it was at on Sim settings was too damn high and I was seeing it way too much. Over all I like the new ratings and stuff they added. EA should borrow some of these ratings for Madden.

I mean not only does NBA 2K15 have pass accuracy, but pass vision and pass IQ as well. Same thing with shot IQ and help defense IQ. So I like how they really break down the ratings to as many separate ratings as possible.

Now only thing I have to do is find a slider that controls these CPU runs. Because like clock work, every game the CPU will go on a run end of 2nd quarter and the beginning of the 4th quarter. And during these runs they hit 99.9% of every shot they attempt no matter if they are triple teamed or double teamed.

Slowly but surely I am getting the game to the way I like it.

Feel the same way...I actually drew Steve Nash in MyTeam and it was a night and day difference in how him and Patrick Beverly defend....I had to end up bringing Nash off the bench...

Love playing with the Hornets too, they are dominant defensively in this game...can't score consistently though..
