They have added the following:
1) The wing reverse
2) blind pig
3) N.3 pass to the 3rd cutter happens more frequently
4) more solos.
5) more guard/forward split action after the N.2 pass to the post
6) the lag pass keys more actions

***U must use the 2k smart play like DaCzar mentioned to fully see all the new actions****

I'll continue to add things I see as I play. I just got back from vacay

I thought smart plays drew only from the playbook, and as such, are not really freelance?

I thought so too but apparently not always (post patch). That's how I discovered they added the wing reverse. I asked DaCzar about adding it earlier in his "2K15 Broken Play graveyard" thread, since we were all using that 65 celtics play lol, and it's in. I think that the plays are hard coded in the game but they can add or remove freelance options as they like

I have a complete list of triangle plays that worked in 2k11 and 2k12 that would make the game as close to the real triangle as we can get. My fear is that 2k is only scouting the knicks and not old Bulls and Lakers teams. The knicks won't run all the actions this year. Once I update my blog tonight I'm looking for someone to record/capture all the genuine plays and post them here. Let me know if you are willing to help. Thanks

I found wing reverse in 2k11 when you call a 12 swingpost for rodman, you have to make the pass to scottie, but his defender

Is ready to pick off the pass control total pass for Longley, make the pass to him when he is at the high post, and pippen goes backdoor alone automatically and it is magic!! It is hard to do but i have ever done it in HOF and it works perfectly.
I will make a video.

But it is a shame i found it 2 or 3 years later!
You know you know can make a backdoor step with a 52 roll, a 42 roll/rub, but the best play to represent the backdoor stay 52 rub even if there is not the pass of a blind pig.

No matter what I did that screen would take forever due to the traffic. So it should be in there just does not play out of that option at all times.

For the wing reverse just stand in this position and wait for the action to start



if the pass is denied wait another second and the pass to the 4-man will become available

Nah, Here is how that works. If you call a smart play BEFORE you cross half court it picks a play out of your playbook. A Full play.

If you use smart play after you cross half court then it looks for a freelance option out of that set(player alignment). IF it can't find one for a player out of that set then it calls a regular play out of your playbook.

Remember these are driven by your POE selection. So you may be trying to find a freelance play for a player we don't have coverage from, from that set so you get a play out of the playbook. Where someone else in the same situation is calling a smart play for a player that we actually have coverage from, from that set.

So if I use Portland and run the triangle offense on freelance and I call for a smart play after crossing half court will they give me a triangle play even tho Portland don't run the triangle offense?

Can anyone give me a brief description of how the triangle offense works and what kind of play styles best suit it? I know it was used with Kobe's Lakers and Jordan's Bulls and now used in NY but I know little about it.
