Re: My 1st Badge (List Your MyPlayer Badges)
Yo why do you guys keep counting games as if you're going to get the badge in the same amount of games as somebody else?? Just play for the badge and you'll get it. Counting the games will make you crazy lol...
The badge doesn't come with a specific amount of games. It's contested shots made. You can play one game and possibly make enough contested shots to get it, granted you'd have to shoot 1500 times probably but case in point, it's shots made. If anything count your made CONTENSTED jumpers.Comment

But do they have to be perfect. That's the unknown that would make things a lot less confusing.Yo why do you guys keep counting games as if you're going to get the badge in the same amount of games as somebody else?? Re: My 1st Badge (List Your MyPlayer Badges)
Yeah, I think the badge helps like 10 percent of the time. Yesterday, I made a game winning 1 pointer just inside the three point line while my defender was jumping at me from too far behind, lol. I could swear that I made this shot because of Deadeye! Also just try to remember that jumpin to the park or rec is fine if you're getting bored, because I can tell you that I'm so glad to have deadeye, but it's doesn't change a whole lot as far as 3-pt percentage goes. (At least not for me). Smart Shots will always be better.
Yes, I have Brick Wall. It's very easy. You just have to be patient. I just set a lot of screens for my Point Guard on offense. Nearly every possession after a normal inbound pass. Didn't mind doing it on fastbreaks. It took me probably 10 games!
For everyone else regarding Deadeye: Don't give up your hope. Like I said, it took me 55 games, but as a reward, you feel a little bit safer at the park and have the knowing that you did everything you could to make the best player possible.
It's tough, but it's satisfying when you get there. It took me one month to get Deadeye because I was so impatient and needed to play park for diversion! And as another player already stated, 2-3 perfect releases per game might just do the trick already.

Re: My 1st Badge (List Your MyPlayer Badges)
Aaaaaand the Deadeye grind is over. I really don't think Perfect releases are mandatory. I started doing it the right way with normal jumpshots and maybe had around 5 or 4 perfect contested releases a game, from the beginning of the playoffs to the 3rd game of the finals. So that's 15 games I got it in, taking nothing but contested shots.Comment

Lol, got Closer after losing double overtime against the Thunders. It just took me one game! This has to be the badge with the best effort to utility ratio ever.
So, Lob City Finisher, Deadeye and Closer in 2 days. Tonight's park will be fun!

Re: My 1st Badge (List Your MyPlayer Badges)
I'm assuming you're playing on rookie/casual (or at least you might want to), depending on your shooting attributes you should be able to make 30-40 and even 50-55 of the correct shots per game if you play all-out hero ball that's never been seen before in basketball. you'll get deadeye in less than 15 games.
Hop stepper definitely is. I like euros the most but it's so much more limited than hop step and spin. At least with the latter 2 you basically bull into the paint and get a shot off while sprinting. But yeah I've gotten king of euros a few times now but it's completely worthless.
I'm not sure what you're inside scoring is at, but I unlocked all the layup badges before i had 15 (casual grindin..).
Westbrook. You won't miss.
I probably wouldn't have phrased it this way, but he's right. I counted games though and it's whatever floats your boat, but the shots that go in are all that matters.Yo why do you guys keep counting games as if you're going to get the badge in the same amount of games as somebody else?? Congrats on Deadeye, and I'm glad you commented on the green releases afterward too. I would bet my ps4, the game, and my controller that green releases don't do anything for you at all. Think of Limitless Range, I got that without hitting a green, same with corner specialist basically. All the shooting badges. All the game counts is the shots you make, obviously in the right spot or type of jumper and what not.Comment

We keep counting games because with most of the other badges , most of us have got them roughly within the same amount of games. If anything it's just a rough estimate, to give people some kind of idea.
As for deadeye, most people are going to shoot till shot fatigue kicks in, so that's 30-40 shots and if playing on rookie they will make over 75% or more with an average of 5-6 contested perfect releases. The people that got it in 15 games or so must have already shot a lot of contested shots before trying to get the badge.
Edit:
I just watched a youtube clip from Lob Mobb "How to get Deadeye (once and for all)" and they think if you are starting from scratch (no previous contested shots made) it should take you around 50 games to get it, averaging 5 contested perfect releases per game.Last edited by T_M3; 12-12-2014, 03:53 PM.Comment

Re: My 1st Badge (List Your MyPlayer Badges)
I had to start over completely once the playoffs came, because I was using a jumpshot that has no contested animation. So I started from scratch with a new jumpshot and 15 games into the playoffs I got Deadeye. You are not telling me anything that I don't already know champ
